Recommend a Pediatrician on the Westbank

My 16 month son sees Dr. Ortiz of the Ochsner group in the same building upstairs. I am very satisfied with her and I am a nurse and husband is a physician so we are very picky regarding our sons medical care.

Hey S., I had my little girl there and I was very dissatisfied also. She now goes to Dr.Anand in the professional building at Meadowcrest Hospital. She is 20 months.I find they are more caring and agressive with any treatments - not everything is just a virus!

My son goes to my former pediatrician at West Jefferson Hospital in Marrero. I've been at that hospital since I moved here 1989 and I haven't had any problems with them. My pediatrician was Dr. Carlos Trujillo and my son's pediatrician is Dr. Claire Neumann. Both doctors work in the same office and both are great!

Our entire family is treated by Dr. Winkeler. She is in the same building as the Westside group but on the second floor. She treated my husband and then we found out we were expecting and decided to use her for the baby. She practices general internal medicine/pediatrics. We love that we can all see her. My sons (two year old and two month old) tend to get ear infections and if I call her she fits me in that day. She knows our family and takes the time to visit with us when we have our appointments. The other nice thing about being in that office is that Dr. Ortiz is available when our Doctor is doing rounds at the hospital. Both have been great with my kids. Hope this helps.
