My favorite web site is www.allrecipes.com - you can search for recipes by ingredients, by cooking method (slow cooker). All the recipes have ratings and reviews by people that have tried them.

Hi K., here's a great recipe for Applenana Bread that was provided by a local apple orchard. It is a HUGE hit with my 8y/o daughter, she prefers it to regular banana bread.
Applenana Bread:
Ingredients: 2 c. flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 c. shortening, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 C sugar, 2 bananas peeled and mashed, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 c. finely chopped apples (we use MacIntosh or Cortland apples).
Directions: Cream shortening, add salt and sugar, add eggs (unbeaten), mix lightly. In separate bowl, add unsifted flour, baking powder and soda together. Mix with creamed ingredients. Combine bananas, apples, and vanilla to mix. Lightly turn ingredients together. Grease 1 lg, 2 med. or 4 mini loaf pans. Pour in batter. Bake for 1 hour @ 350 degrees.
Blueberry muffins: Very important, lightly flour the berries, before adding them to the batter, so they don't sink to the bottom of the muffins!
Ingredients: 2 c. sifted flour, 1 T. baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 3 T sugar, 1 egg (beaten), 1 c. milk, 3 T. oil or melted shortening. 1-2 c. blueberries (fresh or frozen, but not canned). {And yes that's 1 to 2 cups of berries, I like lots, so I use close to 2 cups}[also I prefer to use a native, (wild) blueberries vs. the larger cultivated ones]
Directions: Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Combine in separate bowl, egg, milk and oil, and pour into dry ingredients all at once. Stir, ONLY, until dry ingredients are moist. DO NOT over mix. Dust berries with 2-3 T. of flour, then add to batter. Spoon batter into greased muffin pans (or use cupcake liners), filling about two-thirds full. Bake for 20-25 min in 450 degree oven.

OK here is my recipe:
I call it Yummy Chicken!
ingred:
4 boneless chicken breasts
4 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
1 tbsp crushed garlic
1 stick butter (unslated)
1 sleve Ritz crackers
1/3 cup parmesean cheese
4 tbsp any white wine (optional)
1/2 cup chicken broth
Melt butter in small saucepan. Add garlic & Worchestershire sauce - heat through real quick - take off heat to start cooling
In a shallow bowl or dish crush up Ritz crackers into small bits like crumbs. Add Parmesean cheese
In a rectangular pyrex type dish pour wine & chicken broth. set aside
Wash chicken and cut each piece the thin way in 2 - horizontally to get a thinner piece of chicken. Dip chicken into butter mixture coating both sides.
Now dip into cracker /cheese mix to also coat both sides. Fold chicken over so it is doubled and some mixture in sinside and place in pyrex dish. reapeat with all chicken pieces.
Pour any leftfover butter mixture over top of chicken pieces
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. It truly is yummy! Serve with egg noodles.

My mom made this when we were kids and we hounded her until it was done. I make it now and it is one of my husbands favoites also now almost all of my friends make it, my boss, etc. One whole chicken (as is or cut into pieces) 1/3 cup soy sauce, 2/3 cup water, 2 tbs grated ginger (you can use powdered but I'd go with less and fresh is much better) 3 scallions cut up. 1 tbs white wine (optional if you don't have it) 1 tbs sugar. 1 tbs veg/canola oil. 1 bag egg noodles.
In a pot on the stove heat oil and sear the chicken then pour in soy, water, ginger and scallions. put a lid on pot and simmer for 45 minutes and then add wine and sugar cook another 45 minutes or even longer. (Honestly the longer the better so this may be good in a crock pot but have never thought to do it that way) then cook noodles pour everything over the noodles and your done. Tastes even better as leftovers.

Easy Chicken Pot Pie.
Purchase Betty Crocker pie crust for the crust.
3-4 chicken breast- boil until cooked
package of frozen peas and carrots
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of potato soup
1 can chicken broth
After chicken is cooked cut it in cubes and throw into a mixing bowl. Cook veggies 3/4 of the way in microwave and then add to bowl. Mix in both cream soups and then add broth until desired thickness. I usually use about 3/4 of a can. Salt/pepper to taste, mix and dump in pie crust. top with the second crust and cut slits for venting. Cook at 350 for about a half hour.
If you want to add potatoes with out the fuss they sell canned cubed potatoes you can add to it. This is something that I usually have the ingredients in my pantry and it is quick and easy, requires no attention on your part and my 1 year old and hubby love it.

Here's a super easy chicken recipe...
Place skinless bone-in chicken thighs enough for your family into the crockpot. Cover with Teriaki Sauce. Cook on low for 8 hours. Serve with rice.
I use the crockpot liners. It's great for clean up.
