Preschools in Mokena

Hi,
I am looking for a preschool for my 3 year to start in the fall. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the Little Blossoms Preschool in Mokena. Another one I was looking at was Tutor Time in Tinley Park. If anyone has any information/experiences with eiter of these preschools, I would appreciate learning more about them.
Thanks!

Hi L.,

My 4 1/2 daughter goes to Triple R Childcare in Mokena (behind the Gas City and next to Dominicks on LaPorte/LaGrange). She has been going there since the age of 3 and loves it. I had to opp to research many programs in the area d/t having been on bedrest at the time with my twins and having county/state connections with DCFS (I am a RN director of a hosp in Chgo and work with many social workers). In addition... the owners of triple r are both Tina (CPA) and Kevin Goodwin (dual engineering degrees) from U of I, all three of their girls attend, and live in Frankfort.

If you would like to discuss further please email me!

Hello,

We have been sending our daughter to Little Blossoms for 2.5 years now. She loves it there, and so do we. They are so friendly, the curriculum is excellent and they are extremely clean. They do have a website, called http://www.littleblossomearlyed.com. I would recommend this to everyone.

Good luck,
S.

My 3 (almost 4 year old) has been going to Ivy League Montessori for this past school year. We love Miss Linda. The days and times are flexible. My daughter has been going to 5 half days, but you can enroll for 1-5 days per week AM or PM. They are located at the Reach out for Life Rec Center on 191st (8300 191st St.). There is also before and after care for parents who work (this is for many local area schools too). Miss Kim is the director of the before and after care, and runs it so great. My tiny 3 year old has become very comfortable with the bigger kids now in her after school care, and all the staff knows her and watches out for her. The woman who started this was on The Biggest Loser, and there was a nice write up about it I think last week in the Sun or Mokena paper. I'd be glad to tell you more about Montessori if you like. It's not for everyone, but I like it a lot. The Rec Center # is ###-###-####, and they can direct you to who you can talk to. There is also a web site. I think you can get there by googling Ivy League Montessori. Good luck in your search.
