Hi L.!
I opened family child care in Elmwood Park this summer, so fill free to check out my profile here on mamasource or my web page directly at www.SonjaEarlyArts.com.
As I just moved here, I don't know about other preschools around, sorry.
Wish you luck,
S.

If you are looking for a private school, Lil Masters at 43 Charles Street is really awesome. My sons go to school there and they have learned so much. They teach the children a lot of different concepts and really have a heart for the kids. Its also very clean. They are christian-based. Phone number ###-###-#### or just stop in.
If you are looking for a Head Start/Abbott Program, then I would suggest going to Child Development Center at 93 Nelson Ave. You would have to fill out an application. Their phone number is ###-###-#### or you can go their any day and ask to speak with a Family Advocate about enrollment. They are also very good. My daughter attended there the year before kindergarten and absolutely loved it.
I hope this helps. Both of these schools are in Jersey City Heights.
