Preschools - Burleson,TX

My son is 3 years old, but I would like to start looking around for good pre-k programs/schools for him. Does anyone know of an good and affordable preschool in the Mansfield or Burleson area?

What can I do next?

First United Methodist Church in Burleson has a great preschool program. My son is in it now and my daughter will be there next year. The teachers are great and the structure is wonderful.

ST JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH PRE-SCHOOL in Mansfield has a great Pre-school program. It provides a wonderful experience for children in a very positive environment. It is located in Mansfield on Debbie Lane just West of Matlock. You might want to check out this program.

Hi A.,

We have two children - one was very happy at Primrose School while the other tried it out but found St. John's Lutheran Preschool to be a better fit. Primrose is very structured (right down to uniforms) while St. John's has a more casual, family type feeling to it. Both gave the kids a good academic beginning with all of the basics. Primrose offers extended hours while St. John's is a shorter day (9:00am - 2:30pm) and so, St. John's is more affordable. Now we have them both in a charter school in Arlington - Arlington Classics Academy, which we love. Parental involvement is strongly encouraged, they have small classes (20 students max) and an advanced curriculum. Hope this helps!

Walnut Creek Private School in Mansfield is fantastic, and the tuition is reasonable. It is located at 287 and Debbie Ln. (1187). My oldest son went there for 3 years. Now he is in 5th grade and is in all pre-AP classes making straight As. I think one reason he does so well in school is because of the solid foundation he recieved at Walnut Creek. They have an advanced academics curriculum, but they make learning fun. He went to school there through kindergarten. My youngest son is in pre-K there now, and I would love for him to go to kindergarten there, but with the economy the way it is we're probably going to have to move him to public school next year. We have nothing against public schools. Mansfield schools are great; we were just so happy with Walnut Creek's kindergarten program that we wanted to keep our youngest there one more year. Anyway, I'm rambling now. This is just one suggestion for you. Email me if you have any questions. Good luck making your decision. :-)

I have a friend who has 2 children attending Walnut Creek Private school and they love it! I haven't heard anything negative about it!
Also, I have heard good things about St. John's too.
My son goes to Treehouse Academy in Arlington on Matlock and Turner Warnell. We love it there! He has learned so much since we moved him there. They have Pre-K there also. It is very affordable, too! My son really enjoys going there and never hates to be left there, which is such a relief and comfort as a parent. Everyone in the facility knows his name and knows who I am when I enter the building. I feel very safe there and I am positive he is learning and building good relationships there.
Let me know if you want anymore information.
Good Luck!
