I am looking for some recommendations for preschool for a 4yo in Gilbert in the neighborhood of Warner & Elliot. I had her registered in an in-home school, but got a call today that the teacher is taking a job elsewhere. I cancelled our name on waiting lists that she was on for other schools. Now I am back to square one and am a little unhappy about it. My son will be going to Kindergarten this year at Settler's Point, so I'd like something in the general area. I am open to both in-home and institutions. I would love 4 days/wk. Please let me know if you know of anything. Thanks so much for any help!
My kids have all gone to The Growing Place at Cooper & Ray. Privately owned and wonderful. Good luck.

I highly recommend Greenhouse Montessori on Gilbert between Warner and Elliot. My kids LOVE it there. Check it out:
My kids went to Line Upon Line Montessori out of a woman's house in Agritopia (Higley and Ray), and we loved it. Sheri is wonderful with kids and has been teaching montessori for about 15-20 years. She is AMI certified. It is 3 hours a day, 3 days a week and $180/month per child (family discounts if you have more than 1 kid). You can choose morning or afternoon. It is Tues, Wed, Thurs, from 8:30 to 11:30 or from 12 to 3. Send me a message and I'll be sure to respond if you want her number, since I don't to put her home number out here online.
If you are willing to travel a little farther, try King of Glory Preschool in Tempe. It is very reasonably priced, loving and a Christian preschool. The teachers are amazing and have been there for a long, long time! Worth looking into!
