I have recently found out that I am pregnant. I workout every morning doing cardio/strenght training workout vidoes. I would like to buy some prenatal workout videos but am unsure on what ones are pretty good. I am looking for something at the intermediate level. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I haven't tried it yet, although I have always wanted too! Unfortunantly for me, pre term labor keeps me from excercising at all (I went into labor at 31 weeks, but thankfully they were able to stop it with shots upon shots of 'stuff'), BUT.....bellytwins.com has what looks to be an awsome prenatal bellydance workout!

I absolutely love the Gabrielle Reece The complete fit pregnancy work-out video with Mike Monroe. It's a great work-out and appropriate for every month.

I"m 10 weeks and have been doing these DVDs:

It's twin sisters who are Cirque du Soleil trapeze artists that needed to stay in shape during their pregnancies. The workouts are challenging, but there are beginning, intermediate and advanced options throughout. It's one of the best videos I've seen in terms of production and you can do it real-time, without having to pause the DVD to grab a chair or prop that's needed for the workout. It's very thoughtfully produced. I'm alternating the strength and yoga DVDs and enjoy them both. I bought the package with all three, including the post-natal workout.

I don't have any specific recommendations, I purchases a pilates one that I did not like at all so I continued most of my regular walking/stretching. Have you checked with your doctor? If you regularly work out you should be able to continue that, obviously with out the sit ups. =) There is a certain heart rate that you don't want to go over, I think its 135. Anything over that could put strain on the baby. You should be able to modify the part of your work out that is around your belly and continue the rest of you work out. Be sure to go over it with your doctor so they are aware of your workouts.
