Following yesterdays post about praying for each other....

I did pray for all of you several times yesterday. Today has been a strange morning over here. We could use some prayer here. One of my boys fell out of bed last night and is home with his mom. She said he has a big goose egg. She's just watching him. Then a little girl we watch was at the emergency room last night with a high fever. They didn't see anything obvious. They did a chest X-Ray because she has asthma and gets croup sometimes. She didn't have any wheezing last night. But the doctor was right to do the X-Ray. So she's home today and on meds for Pnemonia.

I got up this morning and had 7 dollars in my account. I definitely share the desire to learn how to manage money better. I usually shop daily and spend out of what I have. But this weekend I bought a lot of groceries at once hoping that I could plan meals better. That's the 3rd time this month that I bought a lot at once and it doesn't seem to stop me from running out of things during the week. I am 125.00 away from paying off my van! PRAISE GOD!

I did cheat and take a 250 dollar cash advance just to keep my account afloat. Big sigh. Someday, I'll do better with God's help.

How are all of you today?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Right or wrong, I can not take the time to go to more than one store or clip coupons. I work 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. I barely get out and usually have kids with me when I do. I also only get 7 miles per gallon. Going to multiple stores is out of the question. I also don't have the money to stock up. At least, I haven't. Eventually, I will. The list of things that are broken in this house is LONG. I've been waiting on so many needed items for the van to pay out. It'll be another 6 months to take that money and work down the list. :)

Thanks :) I'm really not stressed out about sickness. It's just part of life. I do want to pray for those that are sick though.

What I AM stressed about is just keeping up with these little ones. My grandson and 2 of the other kids that I do have most days, are high strung. They go at 100 miles per hour it seems no matter what I do. I use a lot of tricks to get them to sit for a bit and play with them, read to them, etc. But even though I can take 20 pictures per week that would make anyone think my home and daycare is calm, peaceful, full of learning and tranquility... HA! I don't have time and wouldn't dare get videos of the multiple tantrums or times they take off running or the times they start to fight everyday.

It's time that I start getting back to the basics and remembering how I've handled things in less chaotic times. My age is creeping up on me or I've gotten laxadazy in my day to day practices.

Good Morning!!
I am praying for ya!! Your day to day life involves more awareness of little ones and their sicknesses. I rarely see little ones. I feel for you! It is stressful to constantly worry about little ones and their health! So I will pray for you to not be so stressed out. To have a peaceful mindset and know that GOD is in control.
Blessings!!!

Wonderful on your van ! That is a huge blessing ! I will put your little ones on my list. Please add my household. We have had whatever upper respiratory / cold / cough stuff going around. Tons of coughing - very little sleep. I do think we are on the downhill slope though. (And it's not pneumonia !)

Thanks for your prayers LiveBold! I feel you.. I pray the children are better by the end of the week.

Grocery Shopping:
Did you make a list according to the meal plans?
Have you figured out which store closest to you have the best deals?
Do you clip coupons? including your seasonings and paper goods.
When your meats are on sale do you purchase more than enough to freeze for last minute dinner ideas.

Congrats on paying off your van!
