I am looking for somewhere to take 3 boys ages 5-7, for my sons bday. It will be a Friday night, so I know everywhere will be busy. He wants to do something like Chuck E Cheese's, video games and stuff. Any ideas of somewhere other then Chuck E Cheese's? Looking for somewhere around Long Beach or Orange County, not too far from Long Beach. Thanks

Go Kart World in Carson has a little track for younger kids, as well as bumper cars. I just took my younger brothers there (the youngest being 5) and he had a blast. I know they also have "picnic" areas that you can reserve if you're having a party.

Dave and Buster's is pretty cool! Better food then Chuck's and better video games and other types of games. It's at the Grove outdoor mall. Let us know where you end up and how it went. I will need advice for that age group soon!

Straw Hat Pizza on Spring/Palo Verde is fun but the game room is pretty small... however it feels easy to keep an eye on the kids. Also there is a pizza place with game room on Seal Beach/Los Alamitos near Katella but I can't remember the name...

not sure how far is far or your price range. We just took my son to the Rainforest Cafe for his first Birthday. its busy and loud. If you go order the Volcano cake. its this cake with ice cream and the servers make a big deal about it, they all yell "volcano, volcano, volcano" then you could walk downtown disney, there is always lots to see there! There may be a arcade kinda place, not real sure. Rainforest Cafe is a little pricey for the food but lots to see. Good luck!

My 5 year old loved bowling for her birthday. We prefer an alley not far from LB in Garden Grove at the intersection of Valley View and Lampson. You may be successful calling them and making reservations. You may also consider going to Boomers! in Fountain Valley. My son celebrated his birthday there and we all loved it! We got unlimited wristbands which allowed us to play many rounds of mini-golf, bumper boats, rides, and more. We also played some video games, ate pizza, and had a blast! Both locations are open late. If you're up for daytime fun, I would consider going to Soak City at Knott's Berry Farm. It's a blast!

Hello D.. There is a place in Long Beach, but I can't remember the name of it. I want to say it's called Game Zone, but that doesn't sound right to me. Anyway, it's at The Pike (I think that's the name of it lol - a lot of help I am, huh?). Whatever the name of it is, it's down there by Ocean Ave (maybe on Pine?) where all the shopping and restaurants are, and close to the Aquarium of the Pacific. There are tons of games there for everyone to play. Good luck to you :)

You can take them to John's Incredible Pizza located by Montclair Mall in Montclair. Not far at all. Way better than Chuckee Cheeses. Check it out online
