I'm looking to get a simple 3 year photo taken of my son. I don't need anything fancy, and don't want anything expensive. I don't want to join a club because this may be the last time I do this, with school photos from here on out. Can anyone recommend a place in the Littleton/Highlands Ranch area? How is Target, and what location offers portraits? I think there is a place at Aspen Grove. Anyone know about that one? Thanks.

I really like the studio at Target (the one by Boweles crossing). We have gotten some great, inexpensive pics from them. The gal who's name starts with a J (jean? jeanenne?) is wonderful.
Go to the target website and print the coupon (you might have to sign up for them, but they are free). They do portrait sheets for $3.99 and the sitting is free. I usually come away with a ton of cute pics for under $40.
Julie mentioned Portrait Innovations, and that is the name of the place at Aspen Grove. We went there and absolutely loved the work they did! I think you can keep the cost low, although we fell in love with so many of the photos that we blew a wad! It's really nice because they do lots of shots, and they are much more creative than places like Sear's. We looked at all of them right away, and about an hour later were leaving with all of our complete portraits. Well worth looking into!
My sister swears by a place called Portrait Innovations. I am not sure where they have locations, but she said they take numerous pictures then you get to pick one for your picture package (tons of pictures, I hear) all for $10.00. No sitting fees or other fees if you pick one pose. Good luck.
We just got ones done at target and they turned out great! We got a coupon for $3.99 a sheet. I got twice as many pics then I did with kiddie kandids and only spent $36. I will definetly do it again. The only downside is it takes like two weeks to get the pics back. I went to the super target off bowles and wadsworth.

For good yet inexpensive pictures, I recommend The Picture People located in the Park Meadows Mall. Usually you can get in within a day or two, the prices are very reasonable, and staff is friendly and great with children. I've taken my daughter there several times and am yet to be disappointed.

We've had both "professional" photos taken as well as "just for fun" photos. Out of everything, we now ONLY go to the Target by the Southwest Plaza mall. They are amazing and take a long time with the kids. They got our 4 year old to pose in ways we never in a million years thought he'd hold still for. I can't say enough good things!
Portrait innovations is the best everyone always compliments me on my pictures and they work wonders with kids. The price is GREAT if you know what you want the package deal for 10 bucks is really really good it is just hard to pick one pose and stick with it. I used to like Kiddie Kandids until I went here. They take far more pictures to choose from and they are the BEST. You get them in 15 minutes too so I love getting them in the same day.

We had our pictures done at Kiddie Kandids in Babys R US and they came out better than the ones we had done any where else. You get your pictures right there, they aren't super expensive and I thought it was wonderful!
