I am expecting my first child in November and am looking for a good Pediatrician group. I am planning to deliver at Piedmont. I'd like a group who makes it easy to schedule appointments, has short wait times, and takes the time to listen to their patients... Thanks in advance for your recommendations! I love Dr. Shea Fleming!!! She's with Peachtree Park Pediatrics. She truly cares about my children, and we love her!
But Peach. Peds is no longer accepting PPO, that may be a problem for you.
Another fabulous Doctor in the area is Dr. David Roe. We are friends with him and his family and he is just wonderful. Very patient and really listens to you. He is at Piedmont Peds.

I love our pediatrician. She is Dr. Ellerine at Peachtree Park Pediatrics. (The website is www.peachtreeparkpeds.com) I relocated to from California when my son was about four months old. I loved his pediatrician in Cali, so I was VERY picky when it came to replacing her. Dr. Ellerine has a very loving, yet matter-of-fact manner. They have a convenient nurse's line for asking questions, and you never have to wait in the waiting room! They even have Saturday hours for sick children. I love them! We live in Buckhead and love Piedmont Pediatrics. Our pediatrician is Elizabeth Griffith but we have seen many doctors there and have always had a great experience. The practice is located on the Piedmont Hospital campus (105 building) so their pediatricians will see your child daily while you are in the hospital post-partum.
They have great (and convenient) office visits - I have always been able to schedule my twins at the same time. The most valuable resource is their after-hours phone service - as a new mom with tons of questions I always immediately spoke to a nurse and frequently spoke to a doctor (at all hours).

Sorry for the late response... We go to Piedmont Pediatrics as well and use Dr. Laura Harris. She's great and completely laid back. Never has made us worry and puts us at ease everytime we go with any concern. I'd definitely recommend her.

Our pediatrician's office is great!! It is Piedmont Pediatrics at the hospital in the 105 building on the 4th floor. We see Dr. David Roe and Love him. He is super attentive, patience and has great advice/ideas. He and his nurse, Tamika LOVE babies and children and I look forward to taking my 2 year old and 4 month old to see them. All the doctors and nurses and staff are super nice and supportive, etc. Their number is ###-###-####. I was recommended to the office by a friend and think they are great.
