My daughter goes to Dr. Saltzstein w/ the John Muir Pediatrics ###-###-####. I can't say enough wonderful things about the entire office there. Funny enough, I was a patient of Dr. Saltzsteins and now my daughter is as well so needless to say I have over 15 years of experience with them. There is no one in the world I would trust more than her, she is absolutely fantastic. Very attentive, kind, incredibly thorough and such a great listener. She really is a wonderful woman, let alone the best doctor. Wish you the best of luck but any one of the drs in that office I would recommend without a second guess.

I too go to Livermore/Pleasanton Pediatrics and they are great! Our regular dr. is Dr. Flanzbaum. We've also seen Dr. Kurtz and they are both terrific. Our kids have been going to them for 8 years (since birth!)

They're Pleasanton location is at Valley Care Hospital on Las Positas. The number is: ###-###-####.

I can't say enough good things about our pediatrician at Kaiser, if you have Kaiser. Dr. Ping Chouw, DO - very relaxed approach to all our concerns and questions, no pressure approach.

All the staff love her too. She was chief resident at Kaiser and joined the pediatric group in 2008. It's so great to have an osteopath there to balance out the western med approaches. (Dr. Junge at Kaiser is also a DO and also has a very good reputation)

San Ramon Valley Pirmary Care Medical Group in San Ramon... They are GREAT ###-###-#### They work out of san ramon regional and John Muir hosiptals. Always have someone in their OWN group on call so you are familiar with the dr if you have to call in the middle of the night. I was sold when I had my first child and was hesitant on calling the Dr. in the middle of the night and Dr. Long says to me " IF IT IS SOMETHING THAT IS BOTHERING YOU I EXPECT A CALL IT DOSENT MATTER WHAT TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT IT IS. He reassured me that he was always available
Good luck I know how hard it is to make a Dr. change!!

We take our girls, 2yrs. and almost 1yr., to Dr. E. Michelle Lee. She is with the John Muir Pediatric Medical Group and her office is in San Ramon. They also have an office in Alamo as well which has Sat. morning appointments if something comes up Friday night. We always can get in to see her when something comes up and she is thorough, caring, and up to date on new trends in care.

Hi T.~
We use the Pleasanton/Livermore Pediatrics group.
http://www.livermorepleasantonpeds.com/
They have about 10 DR's that rotate so one is always available to you for any number of reasons and our main DR and who I love is Dr. Smith. A few of my other mom friends use then as well and love them. They also have a great 24yr call line and always have a DR on call for any time of the day or night or if you just need advice(which I have taken advantage of a number of times and have never been disappointed!) Hope that helps and good luck!

Hope that helps

Hi T.,

My son is a patient of Dr. Lionel Herrara from Tri-Valley Pediatrics. He's awesome! He always makes his patients a priority. He will see them on the weekends of they need to be seen. He will respond to non-urgent questions via email and will also return all calls before he leaves the office. He is very responsive and knowledgeable. Hope this helps.

Goodluck on your search!
