I too have a little one with breathing issues & history of pneumonia - We had him tested by 2 different doctors for allergies to no avail back in 06- finally after he was diag with pneumonia 3 times I found my Godsend - Dr. William Ashe -Pediatric Pulmonology - Asthma & Allergy Specialists - ###-###-####. He has been in practice for 20 yrs - He is a wonderful Doctor - I just can't say enough good things about him & what he has done to make my son's everyday living so much better.

I cannot help for a naturopath pediatrician, but the practice my children go to is excellent! It is Linderman Pediatrics in Matthews. I have two boys, 10 and 13. The 10 year old has cystic fibrosis (a genetic disease affecting lungs and digestion). They have been wonderful! If you do eventually need to see a specialist for your daughter's breathing problems, I can also recommend Asthma & Allergy Specialists. Their main office is in the Arboretum area of South Charlotte. Although we have moved away from South Charlotte, and now have a 45 minute toa n hour drive to the doctor, we wouldn't change for anything! Good luck!

Dilworth Pediatrics is awesome!! They are located off East Blvd. here in Charlotte not South Charlotte, but only 15 min drive. I live in the heart of South Charlotte of Rea rd and that is who we use. I have several friends who use them also. One of my girlfriends daughter just got over pneumonia and was treated by Dilworth Pediatrics. The doctor we all use is Jonathan Kochman he is great. Although my pediatrician is not holistic, she does believe in nutrition, vitamins, etc. and I really like her kind, caring personality. She's definitely an advocate for the "mother's instinct," where other doctors think they are god and won't listen to your thoughts and ideas about your own child. I like that about her. I'm there with you on not wanting to use antibiotics.

I have three boys, when they were younger they suffered from allergies and bronchitis. (even though I breast fed all of them for about 3 years.) Then I started them on a nutritional program that has made ALL THE DIFFERENCE in the world. My kids haven't been sick in THREE YEARS.

Dr. Dino Kanelos (sp) has two offices and is really good. He did have another physician there who was naturopathic/holistic but I believe she just had a baby and I dont know if she is back or not. His offices are on the corner of Ballantyne Commons and Elm, and another off Providence and 84.
