I've had nothing but bad luck in finding a good dentist for my 3-year old son. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. I prefer to find one in the Culver City area, but am willing to travel for a good one. Thank you for your help!

We go to Dr. Janelle Holden in Manhattan Beach. Both she and her entire staff of hygienists are absolutely amazing. The office is like a fantasy land for the kids. I was really worried about how my son would do at his first dentist appointment. But they encourage you to bring your child early and let them play for a while to get comfortable at the office. They have lots of toys, computers, games, aquariums, it's difficult to describe unless you actually see it. They'll even let you come in for a "play date" appointment if your child needs the first time just to get comfortable with the idea. I thought we were going to need that option, but they were so wonderful with my son, that he didn't want to leave. He was having so much fun!
I can't recommend the entire office enough! The phone number is ###-###-####, and the address is 451 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Ste D226. It would be well worth the drive! She has even created her own toothpaste in chocolate, and vanilla flavors. My son won't brush his teeth without the vanilla!

Our 2 toddler girls have a great pediatric dentist in the Mid-City area (Hollywood). Dr.Smith has been solely a pediatric dentist for many years. In his practice, he has another dentist who's younger but also amazing. Their clinic's # is ###-###-####. I would highly recommend checking them out.
