Do You LOVE Your Dentist?
Hello All,
I was looking for a pediatrician, but then I read some previous posts (always helpful) and got some great recs already! Now I'm wondering about dentists. Anyone LOVE their dentist? I'm looking for a family dentist in the South Bay.

I LOVE Dr. Frank and Dr. Nick...I have 3 kids and my youngest was born with no enamel on her teeth. We've had to take her to the dentist since she was 11 months old and it was important to me to find the BEST...and they are the BEST! My kids think going to the dentist is as fun as going to Disneyland. :-)

hi E., my name is S. meistrell and i've lived in the south bay since i was born, 50 years now!i have a dear friend who is a pediodontist(childrens dentist) who is very good at what she does. she just recently sold her practice in brentwood were she attented to many celebrity children to work side by side with her husband who is also a very respected orthodontist. they are located in manhattan bch and their names are dr.'s patricia and patrick turley. you may use me as a ref. if you'd like. good luck! finding the right dentist is sooo important!!! i also read the response from someone else who loves dr. frank enriquez... i also love him, he was my two boys dentist. my boys are 27 and 24 and they have beautiful smiles,but, if i had a choice back then, my choice would be the turley's!!!

Dr. Patricia Turley is AWESOME! She and her staff are very friendly, and her office is very kid-friendly. I wish she could be our dentist, though ours is very friendly as well. His name is Dr. Rome. My husband has been going to him since he was a little boy.

We have been going to Dr.Vera Deutsch for years and the whole family just loves her. Not only is she a great dentist with a very kind and friendly disposition, but I really like the way she does business. She doesn't make you spend a lot on unnecessary work, but she thoroughly explains all of your options. She doesn't overbook. When you have an appointment you are with her during the appointment time. She doesn't believe in nitrous oxide which is the only way I used to get my teeth cleaned because they were so sensitive, but she doesn't even hurt you when she sticks that needle in with the novacaine! She is in Hermosa Beach on Pier Avenue, and you can usually get the parking space right in front. Her # is ###-###-####.

We LOVE our pediatric dentist! Dr. Nick Brajevich on Hawthorne Blvd. just north of PCH. Sorry, I don't have his number handy, but he's wonderful! He has a great way with kids, doesn't use unnecessary drugs, etc., and is a wonderful parent (our kids go to pre-school together). His philosophies about care are all about inspiring kids and never having them be afraid to go to the dentist. My 4-year-old loves him, even after having cavities filled.

I love my new childrens dentist. We have been there for a little over a year and with 4 kids that is a lot of appointments to make every 6 months. He is very easy to get an appointment with. He is kind and gentle and my kids who have had other bad exsperiences with other dentist love him to. It is a father /son practice and my husband and I go to the father and our children go to the son. He is in Torrance. His office faces Artesia. His parkinglot is on the corner of Crenshaw and Artesia near Ralphs.Their names are Dr.Steven Brown &Dr. James Brown 17430 Crenshaw Blvd. ###-###-#### Good Luck. D.

I found a dentist that i love for our family on Artesia just West of Inglewood (I think). Dr Alvarado. He explains everything so thoroughly and pleasantly. And truly cares that you promise to floss, unlike my past doctors who have made the compulsory statements and moved on.
