Hi , S. :0)

I am a stay at home/work at home mom who lives in the area.

I'm happily married , am 32 years old , and I have a 2 and a half year old daughter. We live in Eagle Lake.
Feel free to contact me ! I don't know a whole lot about Auburndale , but I know a little , I've lived in Polk County all my life.

I used to live in Polk City, near Auburndale, and on Thursday mornings the Auburndale Library has story time, and I met a few moms that way before I moved. Maybe consider that? I think it was at 10:15 or 10:30. Whatever time they tell you, get there a bit early and they do a craft. My daughter was 3 when we went there.

Hi S.,
I have recently moved to the Eagle Lake area (not too far away). I take my daughter to Auburndale park. There are lots of children to play with. Mydaughter and I are therealmost everyday around 9 or so. It is on main street in Auburndale.
Hope to see you there,
S.

Hi S.,
I am a stay at home mom in Auburndale as well with a two girls 5 and 3, and a 2 year old son. I have only lived here since April. As long as you stick to the main roads you can pretty much get to whatever you need. I love the small town atmosphere.

Library day is Wed at 10 i think. And the Library is on Bridgers Ave. Just take a left off of Main st onto bridgers and it is down a little on your left hand side.

Hmmm where everything is? hahaha - ok sorry! *big grin*

You know where Wal-Mart and Publix are - everything is in between!!! The library is great for story time, etc. Just call them to see when it is now... and you'll get to meet some other moms too. The park is near the library...

Hi S.,

I live in Lakeland which is right next to Auburndale. There's a place in Lakeland you should check out. It's called Explorations V Children's Museum. Here is there website-
http://www.explorationsv.com/
It's a great hands-on place for kids. They also have arts and crafts they can participate in.

Another thing we did after we moved here was when we received our income tax refund, we bought annual passes for Disney. They include parking and admission to the four theme parks, two water parks, and their indoor virtual reality theme park called, "Disney Quest". They are pricy, but we have more than gotten our money's worth. If you can't afford the full passes, last time I checked, they annual water park passes were only $100 a person. You can use them year round because they heat the water when the weather gets cold. My little girl and I have had a blast at going to Disney and the best part is that you don't have to rush, You can really take your time. You can just go for a few hours or maybe make an evening of watching the fireworks. If you want anymore information, feel free to email me. ____@____.com

Hope this helps,
L.
