Organic Formula
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good organic brand of formula to feed my baby that is 7 mos? I am breastfeeding but sometimes there is not enough supply when I leave her with a sitter. I used Simulac ready to serve recently, but my mother says that it has too much sugar, but then she is also against using formula. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I used the Earth's Best Organic Formula (milk based) because at the time it was the only organic formula on the market. Now there's a a few brands of organic formula to choose from. Around 9 months, my son started not wanting to breastfeed, so I supplemented with the Earth's Best and he didn't even notice the change. We used that until his 1st birthday when we switched to organic whole milk.

I used Earths Best in the red tin. I thought it was very good.

Try Earth's Best. You can get it at Whole Foods Market, maybe Trader Joe's too.

Horizon Organic might also make an infant formula although I couldn't find it on their website.
Good Luck!

Well actually you need the advice and suggestion from a doctor just in case your child has an allergic reaction to certain formulas.
