I am looking for an obgyn but I am not planning on having more kids any time soon! I would like to find a doctor that I don't have to wait forever on to go deliver a baby and come back to their appointments! Any suggestions?? I would need someone in the Northville/Novi area and in Providence Park would be excellent!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Jodi thanks so much! Dr. Linden is actually my general doc and I had no idea she did gyn appointments. I guess I will give her a call!

Dr. Park in Novi's Providence park is great! The whole group is good, but Dr. Chartier is usually late for her appointments. She is the one that delivered my daughter- and that experience was great- but she doesn't keep appointment times in the office very well! The other Dr's are also all good, I just can't remember their names off the top of my head because my appointment isn't until Dec. (Which I made that appointment in July, so you also have to plan ahead with them!) The Dr's rotate what day they are at the hospital delivering & who's in the office (at least they used to before the new hospital), so I never had the experience you describe above.
Otherwise, our general practice dr. also does gyn appts and her name is Dr. Stephanie Linden- also @ Providence! Her hours are also a little difficult to get in, but worth the wait!
Good luck!

Try Dr. Gove in Plymouth or any of the doctors in that office. Great doctors! I go there and so do a bunch of friends/family.

I go to Metro Partners in Women's Health in Providence Park, and primarily see Dr. Lacoste. The whole group is great though, and I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see a doc. (I've been going there for OB since 2005 - 3 babies in 38 months, LOL). You can check them out on the web at www.womensdocs.com

I go to Woman's Health Consultants. They have a new office near Providence Park. http://www.whcobgyn.com/ My doctor has been Dr. Schoenberger, but I've seen them all when I was pregnant.
