Seeking Great Pediatrician in Wixom

Just a thought...don't limit youself to a "specific" area for a "great" pediatrition. Although convenient, if you want the best, you may have to make the time to travel to another area.

I live in Wixom as well and use the Edgewood Center Pediatrics doctors. I really like this office and have been treated very well by them. My favorite doctors are Gendelman and Purman, but they are all very good and capable in the office. They have very flexible hours and are able to fit you in when needed. I really like Providence Park Pediatrics at Grand River and Beck. They are always able to get you in the same day if your child is sick, sent home from daycare or injured. They have late hours a few days a week and are open Saturdays for working parents. They are very accomodating and I really like the doctors.

My friend highly recommended me to use her female Doctor - (Dr Newcombe) but when i had my daughter 5 months ago Dr Anne Patenaude was the Doctor doing the hospital visits, i took to her straight away, she's lovely.

Dr Bobal is awesome in Pediatric Care Corner - it's in west bloomfeild off of hagerty. I'm INCREDIBLY picky about my dr's and I've followed her to two different practices - she's wonderful.

My daughter's doctor is based out of Providence in Novi. I absolutely lovehim and so does she. He is a family doctor named Michael Balon and is out of the Park Family practices, Infinity [primary care is the name of the office.

Lots of great docs, and I can always get a quick appointment. They have Sat. apppointments, too, but only in their Troy office. They saw my oldest (11 yrs old) in the hospital the day he was born, and we've never switched.
They work out of Beaumont and Huron Valley, which isn't far from Wixom.

I have seen several people mention Providence of Novi - Grand River and Beck Roads. They have several pediatricians there. I take my stepson there to see Dr. Gavini, who actually specializes in ADHD.

There is also MY Kids Doc in Novi. This is on 12 Mile Rd., just east of Twelve Oaks Mall. We see Dr. Dembs, but they also have several pediatricians there. Their number is ###-###-####. We will actually be going back there now that my son is back with a psychiatrist for his ADHD.

I can't give you one in Wixom, but I have been taking my son to Union Lake Pediatrics in Commerce. Dr. Gorman is my favorite but they are all good. They are located on Union lake Rd./ Commerce.

We also go to Providence Park Pediatrics. They are in the Novi Providence. They are very easy to deal with their hours are wonderful,they are open late and have weekend hours. I would recommend seeing, Miele, Pitrick(sp, Pattenaw or Newcomb. I have had some issues when we have gone to see the men in the practice but all of the women are very caring and understanding.
