Ob/Gyn In Auburn

I just found out that I'm expecting my 5th child. We delivered our previous 4 at the same hospital and with the same doctor. The last delivery was traumatizing to my husband and I, so we are deciding to switch hospitals and doctors. This has been a tough decision, but now we need to find a new doctor in Auburn, that delivers at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital. I would love to hear any input, good or bad with the doctors and the hospital in Auburn. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I know this is a little late (I'm going through old emails), but did you find someone? I delivered both my babies there--LOVED Sutter Auburn Faith. Dr. for #1 is retired (I was not pleased with him at the birth, but he was the Dr. on call--what are you going to do at that point, right?), and Dr. for #2 (again, on call Dr.) was great in the delivery room but I was not pleased with her when I tried to I went to her for 6 week check up and appts. after (as the one who saw me through the entire #2 pregnancy left right at that time). I'd be happy to talk/email with you more. The staff there was so wonderful and respectful of me as a woman and honored the way I wanted to birth...not what I've heard from many friends at other hospitals.

I have lived in auburn now for over 20 years, and due to my various insurance carriers have used Sutter's medical services for nearly as long. I will be very surprised if you learn of an OB/GYN in this area, because at some time in the distant past they moved all of their "women's" services other than mamograms to Roseville. Since that time I haven't been able to find one up here so I end up neglecting that part of my health. From time to time, I will use the NP in the internal med. office to have my women's annual done. Could you call the office you were going to and request a different doctor--one who will conduct the delivery at Auburn Faith?

Hi! I work for Hill Physicians Medical Group and we have several Ob/Gyn's in Auburn that deliver at Sutter Auburn Faith. Although we are primarily affiliated with Mercy Hospital system we do allow our Auburn Ob/Gyn's to deliver at Sutter Auburn Faith. You might want to check with your insurance carrier and verify they too allow you to deliver at Sutter Auburn Faith. You will also want to choose and Auburn PCP. Our current Ob/Gyn's are James Dunn, Jr., Phillip Kintner, Claire Leve, and Christopher Lindeken. Our PCP's are Sierra Doctor's, Dennis Levin, Robert Hook, Thomas Roschak, and Daniel Sewell.

I love auburn faith! i've never had a bad experience there. My son had his broken arm set there, I had my hysterectomy, broken leg, and neck surgery there. my mom was just in the ER for what turned out to be salmonella poisoning. I dont have any idea who is doing ob/gyn there anymore but i bet if you called and asked them who they recommend they could tell you who to call. good luck and congrats on the baby!
