New to Lakeland-looking for Good Docs, Dentists, Etc.

I live in North Lakeland too. I love my pediatrician. We go to see Dr. Levitan at Lakeside Pediatrics. On various occassions we have had to see the others docs and nurse practitioners there, and they are all great. As far as dentists go, I see Dr. Moghadasi. He's on 98 next to walmart. The girls in his office are really sweet. I used to go to Dr. Garas at Watson Clinic for my OB/GYN. He is great! I can't say enough good things about him. The only reason I don't see him now is because I don't want to deliver at Lakeland Hospital again. As far as childcare goes... I stay at home, so I'm not much help in that arena. I do know that the twins I used to care for have started going to Excel Christian for preschool now that they have turned 2. I cared for them until they were old enough to go to school. If you son is old enough, you may want to check them out. I have heard great things about the place. Well, I hope all this info helps. I am a registered nurse, and the mom of a 12month old and 24month old. When I first moved to Lakeland, I took my oldest to Dr Leviten's practice. The office staff was unprofessional to say the least; however, the nurses' were acceptable. Both times we called for appointments we were shuffled off to the nurse practioner. Infact, we never even saw a doctor. To make a long story short, I did a lot of research then on the pediatrician's in the area.
We now go to Watson Clinic Pediatric's on the north side with Dr Frates. Dr Frates makes each of his little patients a priority, and he actually spends a great deal of time with you and your child during each visit. He is a gem. He takes the time to address any of your questions and you never feel rushed. And so far both times I had to bring my boys in for fever/colds, Dr Frates has made room in his schedule to accomodate us the same day. Good luck.

hey T. well i take both of my kids to the n.lakeland pediatrics Watson clinic and so far so good,my husband and i also go to the Watson clinic on the the n.side too.

Dr. Snow is amazing ...I found this Doctor thanks to another mamasource mother and it has been the best thing ever. (I used to see a different doctor at this office and she was good but no great.) .
He gives 100 % when you go to see him and even after you leave his office.
