My son is 2 yrs. old, and I'm looking for a pediatric dentist that is good with kids his age. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

The environment is very kid friendly, they are the sweetest dentists that I've ever met. My youngest is very anti-social and they have done a great job with him...
My pedi dentist is in Plano off Coit and George Bush worth the drive from Allen in my opinion. Plano Pediatric Dentistry is the name, Dr Sandra Macdougal is the doc. They do accept insurance ( I have Cigna, so if they'll take Cigna, I'm sure they take everything) My son is autistic and her and her staff are so patient and loving, they amaze me. The first time he went, he refused to sit in in the chair, so instead of fighting with him, the hygienist cleaned his teeth with him standing up. Good luck with your little one.

He is super patient, has tons of toys to help even the youngest child get through a cleaning and he knows when to back down and not force an issue such as x-rays. However, just like majority of Pediatric dentists in TX, he does not accept insurance, he'll file it for you as a courtesy, but whatever your insurance doesn't cover, you are responsible for:( Great, fun, clean office though!
I love Dr. Brister mentioned by Heather.. He has been my daughters dentist for the past 3 years (she is 5) and my daughter LOVES going! He is awesome.
Again, Dr. Tim Brister...amazing! We've gone there 4 years now. My middle child started at 10 months when he tore his frenulum. My kids ask when they can go see Dr. Tim. Everyone is friendly. On Fridays, the dentist is Dr. Jodi Tenney. She's a friend of mine, super nice, great with kids and awesome at her skill as well. It would only take you a few minutes to get there from Allen, as it's just on Custer.
