Need Recommendation: Diaper Bag

Hi Mommies,
I need some recommendations for a good diaper bag.

I currently own about 5 diaper bags right now (none of which I like). I have a huge Lands End bag (way too big), three sizes of the Eddie Bauer bag (all black in color), and am currently using a Thomas the Train small backback for a diaper bag right now. The latter is due to the fact that I have a two year old son and this seems to work.

I will be having baby #2 soon and want THE PERFECT DIAPER BAG that will fit these needs:
1. can carry all essentials for a 2yr old and an infant
2. lightweight but made of sturdy material, stain resistant
3. has some color and personality and is gender neutral
4. is priced at under $50

Any ideas?

Thanks so much,
A.

What can I do next?

AC,
May I add to your requirements possibly one that has book bag straps? Between Aus and little peanut you might want to be able to just carry it like a book bag. Go look at Bessie Mary which is by Shellmans. She carries some baby stuff in there and might have something that meets your needs.

I got one at Sam Moon for $8. It's polka dot, I got brown with white polka dots.... it doesn't have all the "compartments" for bottles, etc. but I've found that things always get thrown in when you're in a hurry anyway. :o) It has "feet" on the bottom so it doesn't get all gross when you put it on the floor. and a small pocket in the front for small stuff.

I actually saw someone at Babies R Us looking at diaper bags and she had about 3 in her cart and overheard her say.. "I like hers" and I turned around and told her where and how much and she threw all 3 back on the shelf and left right then! LOL

Can't beat $8...... I can take a picture of it if you want and email it to you.

This is the bag I ended up buying...I love it. It is under $30.00 comes with a ice cooler, changing pad, has a magnet closing top for easy access and a divider seperating the bottles from the diaper etc. I wouldn't have any other bag...it is Strong, Sturdy, Great Color and Stain Resistant.

For quick outings I use a small bag instead.

I went through a ton of diaper bags too. The last one I got has been my favorite. I got it at Target. It was $30 and I believe it is made by Amy Coe.

I ordered mine on E-Bay from a lady in Wylie. It is Bella Bebe Boutique. http://stores.ebay.com/Bella-Bebe-Boutique They might be a little more expensive but they are great. I got a few extras, changing pad, diaper and wipe bag, and a snap added on.
