Need Recomendations for Doc in South Bay for High Risk Pregnancy ASAP

Hi Ladies,
I need recomendations of an OB/GYN who specializes in HIGH RISK PREGNANCIES in the SOuth Bay area (we're in Redondo Beach). I have had 4 miscarriages in the past 5 years (and we have adopted our daughter from China) and only one of the pregnancies made it past week 6. Because of this, time is of the essence and we need to get to a doc quickly to get a perscription of progesterone!!! THis prgnancy is a surprise as I have endometriosis and we just never expected this to happen. We moved here only a year and 1/2 ago so I don't have a fertility specialist or OB/GYN (my husband is in the military and I see a Dr at the base clinic for everything). At this point I don't care what kind of insurance the recomended Drs take, I just need names to research. The military clinic is laughable and is of no help in this matter and is not taking our urgency seriously. I know may of you ladies will understand my "panic" and be able to point me in the right direction quickly:)

What can I do next?

In my last pregnancy I had to see a high risk Doc because my baby was small. I was refer to Pacific Prenatal Center - Dr. Scott Naylor. He is in Torrance in the building next to Little Company of Mary Hospital on Torrance Blvd.. He was very good and so was his staff - I would recommend him.

I had IVF at 42 at Reproductive Partners and I think they are wonderful. After 8 weeks (I think) they referred me on to a regular OB/Gyn. Due to my age, my regular OB/Gyn referred me to a Perinatal Specialist, Dr. Scott Naylor who specializes in Advanced High-Risk Pregnancy Care. He is in Torrance near Little Company of Mary Hospital. He is EXCELLENT, has all of the state of the art equipment (better than Reproductive Partners), is extremely thorough and very nice.

Hi S., I whent through the same thing you did a few years back. I had 6 miscarrriages in a time frame of 10 yrs. I was seen by a group of specialist in the Long Beach area, very good doctors, very caring. I know the panic and the worriedness you are going through but I assure you these group of doctors are the best. The clinic is called Magella Med.Group and their number is ###-###-####.The doctor I was seen by (Dr. Azrat) is no longer there but I think any doctor there should be good. I wish you the best of luck and I'm sure everything will turn out fine, just always have faith,I did and now I have avery healthy 4 yr old :0)

I was going to suggest Dr. Rosen at Reproductive Partners as well. Super nice!! I had secondary infertility and 7 pregnancies that didn't make it past 6 weeks. Dr. Rosen's care got my last pregnancy off and running and we have a beautiful son as a result.

Good luck!

anyone at Reproductive Partners. i especially like Dr Rosen but they are all nice. They are great, open 7 days a week and have offices all over. Their main office is in Redondo Beach.

Hi S.,

I had a GREAT high risk Doctor at Kaiser Harbor City. His name is Dr. Clifford Marshall; he's absolutely wonderful. I have a physical disability from birth and I had my first child at 34, so two things against me that were considered "High Risk". I had a great pregnancy with absolutely no problems and had a healthy baby boy. Who is now 8 yrs. old. GOOD LUCK, and I hope this helps.

I love Reproductive Partners! They have a website for you to check them out. Just Google their name and you will see the various doctors affiliated with them and how they came to form Reproductive Partners. I've had many friends get pregnant and successfully give birth with their help. We also went to them & were very happy with their customer service and help in getting pregnant. Good luck!
