Female OB/GYN in Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, PV

My OB is Dr. Denise Ishimaru and she is FABULOUS. I also saw others in local practices, but kept looking and when I found her I felt soo lucky. She and her office partner, Dr. Richey, have a natural birth philosophy and won't recommend any interventions that are not medically necessary. Dr. Ishimaru is very professional, never makes you feel rushed (she will let your appt be as long as needed to answer your questions) and most importantly is very knowledgable and experienced. After one of my appts, she did some research on a topic we discussed and reviewed the info with me at my next appointment. I've never had a doctor who spent extra time on me because they thought it was important. Her practice is not crazy busy, like the other big one with 3 doctors, and her office staff is very friendly and helpful, which is always a sign of a well run practice.

Run run run away from Women Physicians in Redondo.
Although I never sued them (should have) their sloppy office manners and mix ups, ended up with me loosing my first baby. They just never told me I had a urinary tract infection, and I needed antibiotics STAT.
They claim to have called me, left a MESSAGE to go to the pharmacy (who knows which one....) but I never got that call.
You'd think a doctors office would know better, to actually get a hold of their patient, fill a prescription, follow up...etc.
Yeah, it's been almost 10 years, and I'm still pissed.
On that note, I really like the doctors I've seen ever since then:
Marc Rosenthal and his wife Jody Aronsohn.

I liked Dr. Carline Louis-Jacques. Although when I gave birth, she was on vacation and had a different doctor at my son's birth (Dr. David Luu), he was pretty rough though... I'm TTC again for baby number 2 and so I'll be watching these posts to see who others recommend as I won't be going with Dr Louis-Jacques again this time since my insurance changed.
