Need Place for Party

Does anyone have ideas as to where I can host a birthday party somewhere surronding the Farmington area as far out as brighton. The party is for 2 soon to be 2 year old girls with mostly just family so I am not looking for anything with major children activites. My house just isn't big enough but it needs to be indoors since it will be in October! Lodges just aren't available this time a year! Any ideas are appreciated.

What can I do next?

Have you considered renting one of the rooms at Wegmans? I don't know what the cost is, but the one here in Canandaigua is pretty helpful. The Wegmans here in Cdga also has a patio for dining and BEAUTIFUL walking trails with water and bridges behind the store (I walk there with my son all the time). Also, not sure when the party is, but the facilities down near Kershaw Park in Canandaigua are pretty nice. There are some covered picnic areas. Another spot is Onanda Park (you guessed it: in Canandaigua), but there are lodges and covered picnic areas there as well as playground and places to swim and hike.
Hope this helps!

S.,
Actually, not sure about your area. :( But I'm going to suggest Letchworth State Park anyway. Beautiful drive, beautiful place, lots of places for the kids to climb!

There are indoor lodges there, and outdoor ones with fireplaces. I just wouldn't try Columbus Day weekend - that's the annual craft festival.

The other thing I thought of is an outdoor tent rental, with sides, and a space heater. Probably not ideal, but it may fit the bill, I figured I'd throw it out there.

Good Luck,
M.

I would try either the Farminton town hall or Pumpkin Hook park. They both have shelters and playgrounds. Or Gravino Park on Canandaigua Rd in Macedon just past P&C.

Hi S.,

I know your request was a while ago & hopefully you had a nice party. Just FYI for future parties Victor Parks & Rec offers birthday parties but you can also just rent out a big room for $18/hr. The people there are really nice & the price is good.
