So What Happened?

well this past weekend i had my sons party and we had a blast. it was held at my moms and the theme was sports. we were out side most of the time, we had pizza, ice cream and cake, cookies and a pinata shaped as a football. I gave out party favors and the children played on the swing set along with inflatable footballs, basketball goal, and t-ball set. thank you for all of your responses.

I had the same problem until my sister told me about Crayola Cafe at Crown Center. You pretty much pay for what you want. It's 10 dallors per child and they provide the cake (which is optional), balloons, decorations, food, and even an activity for the children to do. All you have to do is show up and they handle the rest. You could also have it at Cool Crest. Their's is 10 dallors per child also and they do the decorations plus the kids could play arcade games, older kids could play on the golf coarse or the go carts that way everyone can enjoy theirselves. Try those and let me know how it goes.

I think the most reasonable and fun place for a three year old is McDonald's. I know it sounds simple, but last I checked it was $65 for 10 kids. They each get a happy meal and ice cream. It includes cake, a special gift for the birthday child and 45 minutes or so to play in the play place. Very simple and they set it up and clean it up. What three year olkd doesn't love McDonald's. Hope this helps I know it saved me one year.

Check with your local Michael's and see if you can do a Craft Party. I used to work at one, and I did the kid's parties. It's really a neat thing. You go in and pick out what project you want to do. Their Event Coordinator or Teacher will help you find something age appropriate. Then you pay a price, per child that comes to the party (anywhere from 5-15 per kid usually) and they do all the set up, they instruct the kids, they do the cleanup! You can even have cake or cupcakes there, and each kid gets to take home his or her project. Saves you on goodie bags and stuff.

My nephew just had a party at Pump it Up... it is an indoor area where they have inflatable moonwalks, slides and mazes. There is one in Olathe, near Olathe Medical Center and another in town... not sure exactly. ??
But it was fun.
I dont know the price... sorry. They have a website though.
Good Luck!

I don't know where you live, but my son has been to alot of party's at a gymnastics place. The Edge in Riverside and Mercury Gym off of Tiffany Springs. I live in the Northland. The kids love to bounce on the trampolines and they have the foam pits they can jump into. The Edge has a big blow up slide they climb up in and then slide down. I'm not sure of the cost but I don't think it's that expensive. You could check some gymnastic places in your area. I had my son's 5th Birthday at the roller skating rink. They have different packages. Some with food some without. HAVE FUN WHAT EVER YOU DO!!!!!!! J.
