Need Hair Stylist That Knows What Looks Good on People
My hair has always been a low priority for me, so I usually have it chopped once or twice a year straight across the bottom (I'm low maintenance when it comes to hair). However, I'm REALLY ready for a new look but I have no idea where to start. I always hate going to a salon and having them ask me, "What do you want done?" because I never have any clue about what I want or what looks good. I did find an awesome stylist right before I got married who was so creative (but not wacky/crazy) who would say, "Ooh, you need this type of cut for your face shape" or "This time let's try doing ABC..." but unfortunately she moved out-of-state 6 months after I found her so I didn't have her for very long. I'm looking for someone who knows what looks good on people & who's priced at $40 or less for a hair cut & style. I also prefer someone in the Mesa area, but I'm willing to travel if your recommendation is out of this world.

I have a great guy, Paul at Creations Hair Design in Mesa. I've gone to him for years and one thing I love about him is that he'll give you his input but let you make the final decision without being pushy. I've always had a lot of complements on my hair. He's VERY knowldegable and talented. His number is ###-###-#### and he's located at Guadalupe and Alma School. Tell him J. sent you!

My sisters and I go to Denise Lang at Among Friends in Mesa (Baseline/Dobson). ###-###-#### She charges us $29. She took me from the long ponytail (my mom haircut for 4 years) to something nice. She's also helped alot with conditioning, etc. Good luck

My hairdresser, Heather, is fabulous. I constantly get compliments on my hair and my daughter's (she's only 2, but Heather gave her the cutest dang hairstyle ever. Even guys notice and say how cute her haircut is). Heather works out of her home in Gilbert. She also works at a salon a few days a week in Mesa, but the salon charges more money. You can call her at ###-###-####.

I'm like you I don't go get my hair done I usually just go to my Mom's & have her trim it so when I went there I told her I wanted a new look for my face (It's round) but something wash & wear also (no curling irons, straightners) I don't have time for that. It turned out really good & she was very nice.. My friend has went to her for years thats why I tried her ..

David Pang at State of the Art (24th street & Camelback)is very good. He may be a little more than you want to spend (unless you don't get it dried) but a good haircut lasts at least twice as long as a mediocre one and (can be but)doesn't have to be styled in a special way to look good. He is conservative but measures the face and knows just the right length for the face.
