Need a Pediatrician in Keller

Just wanted to second Kid Care Pediatrics, they also have an office in Fossil Creek Area (behind Zio's Italian Kitchen and Posado's). You said you'd prefer a female, we see Dr. Fricker but his wife, Dr. Kosanke and Dr. Leffel are both in the practice as well and I had heard they were adding a 3rd female Dr. Their phone number for the Fossil Bluff office is ###-###-#### and the Keller Rufe Snow office is ###-###-####.

It's not too far out of your area....I recommend Dr. Kim Mangham in Keller. She has been wonderful with my kids. We recently moved to this area in the past year and she is very thorough and attentive.

We live in your same area and go to Cook Children's in Hurst to Dr Bruce Martin. He's great but is a bit of a drive. I will tell you that we nothing but bad luck and experiences at Kid Care in Keller so stay away from there!!

We have always used Dr. Davis at Cook's CHildren's located in the ALbertson's shopping center at Western Center and Beach St. I've always been pleased with him and his staff. I remember once when my son was very sick, he called me personally to check on him. I thought that was above and beyond!

I would also reccomend Dr. Kim Mangum at Cooks on 1709...she is great, and we have also seen Dr. Hampton there and she is another good one!
We moved here two years ago and took a us a while to find one, Kid Care...woudln't reccond it, too busy and always seemed dirty to me. But I don't think you can ever go wrong with Cooks.

While she's not a pediatrician, Dr. Krieg here in heritage has been seeing my 2 month old since day one. I really like her and her staff and she always answers any of my questions. She also has called us at home after hours when we had questions about my son. He had a rough start to life and I was really comforted by her manner and attentiveness. My older daughter was seeing Dr. Davis and he was alright, but I only got a luke-warm feeling about him and his staff after having had a pediatrician that I loved back in CA. I wanted that same connection with a doctor here in TX. I think I've found it in Dr. Krieg. Also, my OB takes his family to see her and I thought that was a great endorsement. :) Good luck and congratulations!

We love Dr. Mangham in Keller on 1709 as well. ###-###-####. My son was born 12 weeks early and she was with us from the day he got out of the NICU. She has been great! We have seen Dr. Hampton as well and she was great too. We really like the Cooks system of doctors. They have great specialists as well downtown.

I also recommend Dr. Hampton. We started seeing her when my son was 4 months old. The other Doctor we were seeing didn't know what she was doing and was making me feel guilty. My son started to have one side of his head go flat and the other doctor we were using she was scaring me into thinking I had to have my son where the helmet on his head. When we went to see Dr. Hampton for this she said she did not like the helmet idea and recommend therapy, which is what we did and he turned out just fine. She only has appointments on M,W,F and she does tend to talk really fast but will answer your questions. We have seen just about all the other doctors in that office and they are all just as nice. You have recieved a lot of good references in the area, just one more would be Dr Zwernemann. She is great and will work with you if you are nursing or want to space out the immunizations a little.

She is great and always very thorough with her exams. She has kids of her own (twins) so she knows what its like to be a parent and is patient and understanding. You will not be disappointed. Also, the only time she has been unavailable was when she had her babies but I saw her partner Dr. York who was just as wonderful.

Being a first time mom make sure that the pediatrician you pick has weekend hours. We go to Dr. Mercer (Cook Children's Forest Park). We live in the same area so it is about a 25 minute drive (almost the same distance to the one in Keller). I don't know if he taking new patients, but there are several doctors and all of them are great. They are open on Sat. and Sun. starting at 8:00 a.m. and now are offering extended hours until 7 during the week. With both my children it seemed like they always got sick during the weekend and I cannot even begin to tell you how many time we had to go see them on the weekend. It was a life saver keeping us out of the E.R. and Care Now places. Just something to really think about when choosing your doctor.

I love Kid Care pediatrics! There is an office on Rufe Snow one block north of Keller Pkwy and another office off Western Center one block east of 35. There are a mixture of men and women in the office and they are all great! The FTW office is ###-###-####

Hi, I too would highly recommend Dr Catherine Hampton at Cooks, based on 1709. I am from the UK and lived in Keller for 3 years until recently and she was fantastic with us i had her for both my children and she was great. Very thoughtful and thorough. My daughter had asthma and the whole staff was great when we had to rush her in at times no problems at all. The other Dr's in that practice are good too. Very friendly staff and they called us at home on occasions to check my daughter was ok after a visit.

Congratulations!- I moved here from NJ - IOne of the tough parts of moving was leaving my pediatrician I had for 14 years with my son and dgt- so a good dr is something truly important- Ok this is weird but when I go back to NJ I sccedule my OBGYN appt with my dr from there that delivered both babies too!- ha! Anyway- I wasnt as fortunate to fine a great one out here- I live in Colleyville- so I went with a general doctor- Doctor Drake at North Country in Grapevine- ###-###-#### my kids were older and I was able to- but my friend Kim has a pediatricia that actually does house calls- Theresa Mutzig- www.kidcalls.net
###-###-####. Totally stay away from the Care Nows in this area- they are nasty and its the last place you want to be when you baby isnt feeling well.
Hope this helps- but if you need a regular dr ever- Dr. Drake is great with adults and kids as well.

DONT USE "Kid Care Pediatrics" if you want a doctor who cares about you..!! I was referred to them by My Wife's Dr. Martha Guerra who has a practice next to their Fossil Bluff location.. The customer service at the Keller Office was shrewd to say the least.. I then wanting to follow my doctors recommendation figured I would call their fossil bluff office in hopes the greetings would be more pleasant. It was until I expressed my concern of how rude the Keller location staff supervisor was.. I was then told the Keller location claimed I used unsavory language (not-true) and that the Owner/founder "Dr. Omar Gomez" told them too "REFUSE SERVICE"... I explained the claim was untrue and asked if I could speak with Mr. Gomez.. I was denied my request.. I was flabbergasted!!!!! Wrongfully accused and thrown to the curb.... I called Dr. Guerra's Office (who referred Me) to make them aware of how the people treated me and my family.... So I went too Cooks Children in Keller.. Cooks is part of Ft Worth Cooks Children's Hospital.. Great name Great reputation... My veterans organization takes Josh Dogs for the Ft. Worth Hospital NICU children every year... Anyway I was really upset at the lack of respect given by Kid Care Pediatrics staff.. Go to---- Cooks Childrens,,,, If your from the area everyone knows about Cooks reputation..
