He's not in Lewisville but he is on the border of Carrollton/Plano and I trust hime with my son's life. We've used Dr. Jeffrey Berkowitz since my son was a newborn 8 years ago. He is very detailed and doesn't over medicate, etc. He's great with first time parents.

I highly recommend Dr. Harpavat! She was my husband's doctor (he is 40) and all 3 of my children go to her (14, 11, & 5). She is amazing and caring and always remembers the children their parents, and the activities/jobs they have. I didn't take my first one to her because she was a preemie and I thought I should take her to the doc that was on call at the hospital when she was born because he would know her the best. However, when she got sick at 3 months old and was in the hospital for 2 weeks, he never called or visited and when I took her to him for her follow-up, he said "Oh, yes, she was sick or something right?" Switched to Dr. Harpavat, and even thought she wasn't her doc at the time, she always remembers, and kept it in mind as she has grown up.

Pediatric Physicians - Dr. Harpavat - ###-###-####. They are located on the corner of Churchill & 1171 in the medical plaza across from the Sonic & Lifetime Fitness.

Best of luck!

There is a Cook Children's pediatrician's office in Flower Mound--almost to the Lewisville border. Thier website is www.cookchildrensflowermound.com. I've gone to them for years and LOVE them. I see Dr. Kim Burgess, but all of the doctors there are wonderful. I also have seen Dr. A. Vafaie and she's really great too. I've never heard anything negative about these Dr's and have had a wonderful personal experience. Best of luck to you!

My daughter interviewed several doctors before her daughter was born and settled on Dr Debra Naylor in Flower Mound. You should just call and make some interview appointments so you can decide which one is right for you. Make sure they come to the hospital when your baby is born because some of them don't and you wind up with the doctor on call. Congratulations and best of luck!

I second the recommendation about Britney Cox, though that dr's office is called Kids First Pediatrics (it's in Highland Village, right on the border of Flower Mound). She is one of the PA's, and she might still be on maternity leave currently (she was when I took my daughter in a few weeks ago anyways), but she is fantastic! I always ask for her before asking for the dr. for our appts. She has a great bedside manner and my kids really like her. I had my kids at MD Pedi first, but we switched after my daughter was born; I don't even remember the name of the dr.'s we saw there, but I remember feeling very uncomfortable, and I always left their office feeling like a bad mother - NOT a feeling you want. But definitely set up a consult and get a feel for the dr before the baby comes - you'll be having the most contact/communication, so it's important that YOU feel comfortable with the dr; if you do, your kids will, too. Good luck!

I also wanted to recommend Cooks in Flower Mound. Our kids see Dr. Beth Montigue, and we couldn't be happier with her. Dr. Kim and Dr. Amie are also great as well as their staff (nurses and front desk).

We moved to the Flower Mound area a couple years agao and went through a few pediatricians before we found Dr. Melissa Waters. She is partners with Naylor. Will love the office, 18 and Under. The other 2 pedi doctors we tried where the other 2 mentioned, MD Pedi and Kid to Kid, bad experience with both, my daughter never warmed up to them. We love Dr Waters. I am pregnant, 24 weeks, and will be useing her for the new one too!

I HIGHLY Recommend Dr. Bain in Frisco....she is out of your way a bit but she is the best in offering individualized care for your child. She is personable and really looks at the core of an issue, not just symptoms....Wish I had found her from the start!!!

I love my pediatrician - MD Pediatrics. They have office in Lewisville, Flower Mound & Coppell. There are several doctors at each location. We typically see the same 2 depending on their availability. All of them are so nice and very good with children. Their offices are very nice, clean and very child friendly. I believe their website is mdpedi.com. We have two boys, 2 years old and a 5 month old. The doctors are really good about asking about the other child if they are not there. They take a genuine interest in your child's well being. I have several friends that use them and they are all happen with them too.

We live in Lewisville and Love MD Pediatrics. My daughter sees Dr. Leung. He is great with children! Super funny and nice and my daughter loves him! My husband went to that office when he was a kid and saw Dr. Holt. He has been there for a very long time. Also, Dr. Harpervat in Flower Mound has been around for a very long time. She was my pedi when I was a kid and I am 28! Good Luck! It is so hard to find the right fit! That is great you are already searching for the perfect fit! =)

Dr. Kim Burgess, Cooks Childrens off Firewheel in FM. ph # ###-###-#### Excellent care, gives you all the time you need to ask questions, is VERY warm, down to earth, great with first time parents and my children love her as well. We've also seen her associates, which are also good. Excellent front office staff and Dr Burgess does not keep you in the waiting room forever like some practices do. We can always get in to see Dr Burgess. She has 'rights' at Cook Childrens in Ft Worth should you ever need that hospital. All of the Dr's in her practice speak English. I interviewed other Drs, but needed someone I could communicate with easily and not have to struggle with a language barrier, especially when your baby is upset, getting shots, etc. Dr. Burgess has been in this FM location approximately 11 years and has three children of her own.
