my daughter turns 4 in march. I would like to hold her party at a park in the orlando area. I would like one that the play structure is near a covered area with possibly a grill. I would like to be able to reserve the space so I can afford alittle of a fee. (a few hundred bucks) We live in east orlando, but a 20 mile radius would be ok too! Thanks.

What can I do next?

Moss Park in Narcoosee is nice and had a lot of space including pavilions and grills.

Another nice park is Warren Park, off Daetwyler Road, near Tradeport. This isw't as big as Moss Park, but has play equipment and swimming...

Curry Ford park is nice. It's off of curry ford and econ. It has only one pavilion though. It does have a grill and a covered playground. We love going there. That's where we're going to do our little one's party. It think it's only $50 to reserve it. I think it's worth it to avoid having your house turned into a total mess after spending a ton of time cleaning it for company.

Curry Ford Park is fabulous and is on the East side of town. It is near the intersection of Curry Ford and Econ. They have a gazebo/pavillion with a grill and two large, covered, playground areas. (One for 2-5yr olds and one for 5-12yr olds.)

There is also CapeHeart park. They have covered play areas, a splash pad and a rec center! (I like Curry Ford better though just for location and atmosphere!)

My kids and I have been to birthday parties held at Downey Park, on the corner of Colonial Dr. and Dean Rd in the past; and it has play structures and covered pavillians with grills there. I've never rented a space there, myself, so I havent a clue as to the cost involved.

The only other park I know of is Blanchard Park, which is north of Colonial Dr, and South of University Blvd, on Dean Road. They might also have what you're looking for, as it's one that the church I attend uses for its annual Family Fun Day.(We usually go in thru the back gate, which is on Rouse Rd, if Im not mistaken.)

Sorry Im unable to inform you on the cost of these parks, but I do hope I've helped some, R..

There is a nice outside park located in the Conway area. Barber Park. I know that they have covered areas near the playground that is also covered. I think they have grills however I am not 100% sure. I also think it is free to use the area, it's first come first serve for the tables. Here is a link.

My family has always used Lake Mills near Chuluota, Fl, it is beautiful and it makes you feel like you are tucked away from the big city. Here is their website: http://www.seminolecountyfl.gov/leisure/parks/parkInfo.as...; they do have a large pavillon right next to their playground along with a couple grills. This park also offers trails to walk or bike, fishing and remote camping. My oldest daughter is 10 and we have had at least 3 of her birthdays here and a few family gatherings.
Another idea, is Fort Christmas, they also have pavillons/grills right next to the playground in a country setting. Their website is: http://goflorida.about.com/od/orlandocentralflorida/ss/fo....
