Need a New Pediatrian..not Happy W/current One. Grapevine/Trophy Club Area

I live in the Grapevine/Trophy Club area and need a new doctor for my 13 month old little girl. The one we have now, well, we are not very happy with. Closed on Wednesdays and 2 hour lunches, the staff is not that friendly and hard to get people on the phone for appointments. Anyone out there REALLY happy w/their pediatrician?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you all for your advise, I will look into all of them, thanks again....

I go to First Health on North Beach road Ft Worth and they are great. They are open I believe until 7pm and on Sat until about 12 noon.

I don't know how far you are willing to take your child but my son see's docotor Valen Radimecky the phone # there is ###-###-####. I like him and the clinic too. You don't have the long wait, if your appointment is for 10:00 AM they see you at 10:00am not 12:00 or keep you waiting for long.

We LOVE our pediatrician but he is in Flower Mound. Dr. Kanadia at ###-###-####. He believes that children should not be afraid of the doctor. He is very kind and gentle. He allows me to hold the child while he does most of the exam and if they start to fuss he stops, does a trick like spinning the ear cone thingy on the table to get their attention and distract them, then starts the exam again. I have had other doctors request that i hold the child down so they can continue the exam which then upsets the child GREATLY. I drive further out of my way to go to Dr. Kanadia for these great reasons!

We go to a wonderful pediatrician in the Cooks Childrens system at 1709 and Rufe Snow in Keller. Her name is Dr. Mangham. My son was born 12 weeks early and she has been with us since he got out of the NICU. She is very thorough and everyone in the office is great. They even have extended hours in the winter. She is pregnant and will be out on maternity leave soon, but every doctor we have seen there has been great. The number is ###-###-####

We LOVE doctor W. Pierre Robert; he's in practice w/ Dr. Scott noted by another post. They are both great & so is their staff.

We go to Dr. Eric Hopkins ###-###-#### in Grapevine and LOVE him and his office is great too. We went through 4 Dr.s when we moved here and a friend with twins recommended Dr. Hopkins and I am sooooo grateful. He is affiliated with Cooks.

Micheal McCoy, next to Holy Trinity. He is awsome, rated one of top ten in Tarrant Co. Very outgoing, staff is great!! Easy to get in, same day!! We have been going to him for 6 years. I live in Flower Mound and drive 15 min, thats how much we like him!! He is with Baylor Hospital! Good Luck!!

It is really hard when you need someone you can talk to and trust and they just aren't there for you. I have worked with a lot of pediatricians and there are many good ones in this area, but I think my favorite is Dr Vanita Shori. She really works with you and your concerns, as well as being a mother of 2 small children herself. She is a Cook Childrens physician in Grapevine and many of the parents here at the Nesting Place use her and always tell me she personally calls them back, but she also has 2 RN's that work with her so they are very knowledgeable as well. The office is older but she isn't and the staff seems very nice and accomodating.
I hope this helps

We use Dr. Andrew Kilgus' office in Grapevine. He has two other awesome doctors in his practice, Dr. Hopkins and Dr. Shori. They're located at 1600 Lancaster Dr, Suite 103 in Grapevine. Their # is ###-###-####. My daughter has seen each one since she was 4 (she's 13 now) and loves them.
