Hi ladies, I am planning my son's birthday party from Ireland, and I wanted to know if you like the My Gym in Northridge. Last year we went to Under the Sea in Burbank, and I have learned that location has since closed down. I am reviewing the MyGym site and it seems to have more stuff than Under the Sea, but I don't know anything about it. Do you like it? Good for parties (my son will be 2)? Is this location good or is another in the San Fernando Valley better? MANY THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under the Sea is still open. We went to a Mygym party at the touca lake one and it was by far one of the best parties we have ever been to.
Just attended one there. It was great! LOTS of things for the kids to do. They have a huge jungle gym and bouncy house. And are well organized in keeping kids busy.

There is a great place in Pasadena Called "AMY'S INDOOR PLAYGROUND". Looks clean and fun!
I had my son's 1st birthday party at My Gym in Woodland Hills/Canoga Park. That "my gym" is so much bigger than the one in Northridge. Rosie is the coach who is really good with small children. I have kids from 9 mos to 10 yrs old at the party and they all had a great time. There is an Under The Sea in Northridge which is pretty nice but more expensive and I think My Gym is better for a 2 yo.
i have been to a few parties at other My Gyms and the kids LOVE it!

We went to a nice party at the Northridge My Gym. However, I like the Encino My Gym (on Ventura) better. I think it's a nicer facility and they supervised the kids a little better.

My dd used to go to the one in Encino. I'm sure the Northridge location is just like it. My Gym offers more organized physical fun instead of running around at will and is very fun for parties too. At this age, the parents would definitely need to be involved. Sorry you're so far away and trying to plan a party. Best of luck though.
My daughter had her 3rd birthday at the Northridge My Gym and it was amazing! You get to relax a little while all the kids play. You can bring food and cake and they'll clean up. My guests complimented what a great party it was! My daughter had so much fun that she insisted that her 4th birthday be there as well! Also, if you can, get Jonie to be one of the instructors for the party. She's awesome and was the main reason everyone loved the parties!
