Moms Day Out or Pre-school

We are moving to San Antonio in a few weeks from Dallas, and was wondering what the good mom's day out or pre-school programs were. We will be living in the Stone Oak area. My son will be three in September.
Thanks
G.

Try Primrose on Stone Oak Pkwy (a little expensive but highly recommended and rated), they were full when I needed daycare for my son so we took him to The Children's Center also on Stone Oak Pkwy and he has loved it! Good luck!

I'm not sure about play groups in the Stone Oak area. However, there are many convenient preschools. If you want a religious type atmosphere there is San Antonio Christian School on Redland Road, the YMCA, and Cornerstone Preschool (only open to members of Cornerstone Church). There is also a LaPetite Academy that is close to stone oak parkway on Encino Rio. I have a 7 week old so if you find a play group, PLEASE let me know! :) Good luck!

I don't know of any in the stone oak area but there are two churches that I know of around the sea world area.
Westover Hills Assembly of God has MDO and MOPS. Also, Calvary Hills Baptist Church had a MDO program.

Hi G.,

I'm sure this may be a delayed response since you posted in 2005 but since you have another little one I thought I'd pass this along. I have had my son at Bright Beginnings Kids Day Out at the Church at Stone Oak for about 3 years and I am just sick that we are moving because I love them so much. Susan Pittman is the director there. They have an awesome Christian-oriented program in a very CLEAN and uplifting environment. My son has learned so much. Everyone who I've recommended to go there loves it. They are opening registration TODAY for the fall. (I am online looking for a MDO in Spring Branch but if I can't find one I am going to make the 80 mile/day commute back because I love them so much.) Hope this helps!
