My pediatrician now is just not so good I liked her at first, but this past visit she didnt respect my wishes on shots, and said that a side effect my child was having wasn't b/c of the shots but the info she gave to read said it was. Also she never interoduced herself to my husband and pretty much ignores him the everytime we go. One of my twins is having trouble with spitting up but he is gaining weight but he spits up all the time and she has no consurn and treats it like it is no big deal and says "babies do that" but I don't think this much. PLEASE HELP!

What can I do next?

The best doctor in Jax is Dr. Miles and her partner Dr. Ceron. They have a more natural way of promoting health yet they still use modern medicine. They respect ALL wishes of you as the mother and spend more time with you at your visit than any other doctor would. You can check them out at www.progressivepediatrics.medem.com

Hi, my name is C.. I have two little girls, Hanna is 5, and Traci is 3. For a couple of years they were seeing Dr.Gabertan Jr. at Arlington Family Care. I thought he was great. But now they are seeing Dr.Joyner at All-About-Kids Pediatrician. He his so great! My daughters love him too.

Progressive Pediatrics are wonderful. They truly care about the child AND the parent's wishes. They're also the most knowledgable and up-to-date pediatricians I've found in Jacksonville.

Hi, M.,

If you check out the local business review, you'll find several great ones for Progressive Pediatrics -- Drs. Miles and Ceron. Their office is located on Beach Blvd. at Parental Home Rd. They are very open to patient-directed care and willing to honor parents' requests WRT shots, feeding, co-sleeping, etc.

You may also want to call Dr. Prasanthi Reddy at the Rainbow Pediatric Center. She is less accepting of withholding vaccines altogether, but is very accommodating of a modified schedule.

HTH,
H. P.
