Mommy Calling Cards

I have a invitation/announcement business and I have a craft show that I am going to do coming up. I was thinking about starting to make Mommy Calling Cards. Do you think that Mom's really use these? I run across mom's all the time and start talking and usually end up giving them my email address. Would it be helpful to have a card with your phone number, blog address, an email on it. Maybe something that said Mommy to Jack and Jill, so your kids name is on it.

I know that these already exist, I just don't how useful they are. Should I take time to make a few designs and get samples or do you think anyone would be interested.

How better than to ask the Moms =)

What can I do next?

you can make some using the FREE cards from Vista prints..
Gotprint.com also has great prices.
I think it's a great idea, but keep in mind that they are so easy to make that alot of moms will do it on thier own unless you can come up with something awesome that they can't get anywhere else. good luck!

I would use it to give to other moms, and also send along with my kids to school, field trips, vacations, etc. That way if my child gets lost or injured when I'm not there, my information is readily available. By the way, when and where is the craft show you are doing?

I've only been given one, but I use it all the time. Her children live around the corner, so it's an easy way to set up playtime. She gave it to me before I knew her and offered to take my daughter to school once the baby was born. I took her up on it, and things have worked out great since. I say, what can it hurt?

Hello E.,

yes, Mommy Calling Cards are great! I make my own. (which reminds me...I need to print some more)
It has my name (no last name) mom to: my kids names
my cellphone number and e-mail address. If the card gets lost I don't want my kid's names/lastname along w/ our home phone number laying around.... I've also made cards for my kids to give to their friends at school (specially at the end of the school year) Good luck! ~C.~

I think it's a good idea and I would probably be interested if I saw it at a craft show. :)

I think it is a great idea and agree that it is definitely something I would pick up at a craft show. How long will it take you to print them out? Can you print them out at the show while they shop if they pay first? If so, I bet you'd sell quite a few..
Good luck!

It doesn't take that much time to make up the sample and you never know how many moms would be interested. Don't miss the opportunity.
