I have a Mirena too, I love it - it does give me "pregnancy like" symptoms every now and then, I have heard that from many women on Mirena.

You could have a urinary tract infection that could turn into a kidney infection so you should see a doctor for sure.

To be honest, it sounds like you might have a low-grade urinary tract infection. Either way, I would go see a doctor.

Dollar Tree has pregnancy tests, if you want to reassure yourself without spending much. I had classic pregnancy symptoms about 3 months after I got the Mirena, and panicked, but the test was negative, and I've been pretty comfortable ever since. Once in a while I have some nausea and some cramping, probably around when I would have a period, but so far no pregnancy. I did know someone who got pregnant with an IUD, but not the Mirena. Well I would definitely take a test if you're on Mirena. It can be very dangerous getting pregnant while the iud is in. I know at the dollar tree they have pregnancy tests and they worked when I used them.
It also sounds like it could be a urinary tract infection. I would get the $1 test, if that is negative then talk to your doctor because you'll wanna get the infection taken care of.

I would go to the dollar store and buy a test. Same test, less money. They work just as accurately. And yes, it is possible to get pregnant with the mirena but not likely and not at all common. It's more likely that it may just be irritating your system. If the symptoms persist I would call your OBGYN and get seen. Severe pain could mean that it has embedded in your uterus but it sounds like your pain is quite mild. Definitely warrants concern though, so get it checked out! :)

I haven't experienced any of those symptoms and I have had 2 Mirenas, but I also haven't heard of anyone getting pregnant with one either. ALTHOUGH: it is possible! There could be a laundry list of problems that could arise if you do get pregnant with one in, so its best to spend the money to find out for sure. If you are, get to the doctor right away and if you aren't make an appointment also, just to be safe.

It sounds like it could be a kidney or urinary tract infection, so i'd get it checked out one way or another.

dollar tree has tests for 1 dollar...they are way better than the expensive tests...when I got pregnant with my first i went out and bought 24$ digital test kit, and it showed no result...and then went to dollar treee and it showed I was pregant. wanted to double check so bought an EPT it showed not pregnant...bought another dollar tree and it showed pregnant and I was...cost 1$ worth your piece of mind
