We hope to be on the water and possibly a place to rent a pontoon boat?

We have one on Upper Silver Lake - 23 miles south of Ludington. The official address is Mears, MI. $875+ per week. We may still have a few weeks open to rent in August. No pontoon boat but there is a boat launch on the lake. Sleeps eight comfortably. Five BR's. three baths. Inland lake - lake frontage. Two miles or so from Silver Lake and sand dunes. Up for sale/not sold yet.

We stayed at Sunset Bluff Resort on Hamlin Lake a few years back when we only had two kids, aged 11 1/2 months and a year and a half. We brought our own boat, but they do rent pontoon boats. We loved it and are thinking of going back with our kids, ages 4, 6, 8 & 10 now. I would just double check with them that they have child life jackets. I would think they would, but you never know.
Go to AAA and see what they can find for you.........you can also type in Cabins, Ludington MI. in Google and see what pops up.............

Try vrbo.com(vacation rental by owner). We have rented three houses in MI, 1 in NC and 1 in SC through this site. The houses have all been wonderful and all the owners were easy to deal with.
