Hi Ladies,
My son's first birthday is coming up on July 4 and his party theme is sports. For his invitation I want to make a baseball card type thing with his picture in front and on the back his 'stats' and the time/date/place etc for the party. What's a good program to use to make the invites? Do you know of any websites I could see examples of some?

Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I ended up just making them on Word! I used text boxes and pasted a picture of my son in the background. They turned out awesome! I printed them on photo paper for a more professional look!
Thanks for all the suggestions though!

Hello! congrautlations on the first year birthday what fun! A website I have used is mycardmaker.com which allows you to upload your own photos and print any number. Its fairly easy to use and you could get most of what you are looking for here.

Hello!

Well, this may not be exactly what you are looking for, but I am also thinking about doing my own invites for my daughter's 2nd and I came across a site called smilebox.com. They really have super cute designs that you can print, email, save to disc for a keepsake, etc all with added music (not the ones you print of course).

I was actually thinking about doing cute printed cards to send out to all the kids and email the adults and grandparents the musical picture email invites.

Anyways, just thought I'd throw another option your way to explore.

Good luck!

:)

I love scrapblog. It's very easy to use and when you order from their site you get very high quality images. They also print on cardstock so your cards/postcards look great. Even if you're not the most creative, there are tools that make east to create exactly what you want. And you can design for free :)

I have used American Greetings Create & Print for years. They have a one month free membership, and then if you want to continue, it's $19.99 a year, I think. The quality of the cards is really good, and the site allows you to change wording on a card, etc. I'd recommend this. All you need is an internet connection and a printer. You can find it here: http://www.americangreetings.com/
Hope this helps,

I use microsoft publisher all the time.. I can send you a sample some invites I have made if you need some help.. Shutterfly.com has some really cool invites as well.. or just google baseball invite and click on images and you should get lots of examples.. I make mine in publisher and then take to Office Depot to print. Very affordable..
