Thank You Cards

One year I sent a picture with the thank you note...If I had one of just the two I would send that, otherwise I would try and find one that included the one you're sending the thank you note too.

My son's first birthday: it was a cowboy themed party and afterwards I took a photo of him wearing his little western outfit and hat holding a thank you sign. It was just a 1/2 poster where I wrote THANKS in black marker.
I wrote a short note and then used an ink pad to do his handprint (his "signature").
When he gets older and has more "friends", I'm going to take a group photo at the party and use that for the cards.

We did photo cards that said "Thank you for making my day special"

I also use Party Cat for all of my invitations and stationery. One year, when my daughter was 7 I took pictures of her with each child and then had Party Cat print a generic thank you inside a photo card. On the outside of the card I put the picture of my daughter with the other child. The parents loved it! I still get asked where I got the cute thank you notes. Hi V. ~ you may already have this one figured out, but Amy Adele has a great website with really sweet thank yous, invitations, etc... A lot of them are specific to the type of party and they also have child specific notes (red hair, brown hair, blonde hair, etc). Good luck!!

I have a friend who always includes a picture with the thank-you card. One year she even made a scrap-book type collage for the the thank-you card with pictures of my girls and her daughter...it was the best thank I ever received! Anything with a pic of the giver at the party would be great!

What is the theme for the party?
You could use that as a basis for the card... I like matching thank yous... or at least theming...

A friend of mine made me some hand made cards with the cutest little ladybugs on them - which is a fave of both me and my daughter - she does those Stamp - It Up as a hobby - try and see if you can find someone who does this or maybe go to Hobby Lobby and see what stamps you can find and make some yourself - I hope this helps

Oh at hobby lobby you can buy the premade cards that are blank and just decorate them yourself!

The staff at the Party Cat is great! They helped me with birth announcements and birthday invites for my children. They have a wide variety of products and custom print everything! We have Hallmark card software and we make our own. It is installed on my daughter's laptop as well as mine. She now does her own cards since she is 13 and old enough. On cards from her bday party in Dec, she personalized each thank you and then put a picture from the party on the card which was downloaded from the cameras I had set up at the party.

If you took any pictures of her at the party, you can just upload them to Walgreen's website and choose a Thank you Card. Or you can choose a card and type in a personal message that will appear on it. It comes in a set of 20 for $9.99 with envelopes included. It looks great. I did this for my daughter's birth announcements!

I have a friend who makes custom photo invitations, thank you cards, mommy cards, etc...she lives here in Round Rock.

WE used our digital camera and scanned images into microsoft publisher to make custom thank you notes.

I printed my invitations and I used the same outside format for the thank you notes. I also took pictures of my baby with the individuals and also with her with their gift and gave the recipient copies.

If your daughter can scribble, she may want to add a pretty picture to the thank you's as well!

For my little girl's baby shower, I sent thank you cards with her "stationary" and a short thank you poem typed inside it...yes, I know, what a little diva. She's not even born yet and already she has stationary. :)
For my son's 1st bday, I passed out thank you cards the day of his party. I took a picture of him the day before wearing the outfit he was going to wear for his party and made thank you postcards with his picture that said,"thank you for making my 1st bday a memorable one". I took the picture(my camera memory card) to CVS and made the thank you cards in the machine.
My sister just sent out the cutest thank you cards for her wedding shower. She took a picture with her and her fiance wearing matching tshirts that said "Thank you" and made a black and white picture and thank you card with it...
