Lucky Bamboo Plants

I am co-hosting a bridal shower and we have decided to make lucky bamboo favors. We have the containers but need the bamboo. Does anyone know where we might purchase some small size lucky bamboo plants...again not in containers. We need about 140 pieces. Thanks for reading my post!

99 Ranch in Dublin, Fremont, and Milpitas usually have stocks you can buy, as does Marina Foods in Union City. Should be pretty inexpensive!

If you are in Santa Cruz, Zen Trading on 41st Ave had "loose" lucky bamboo plants last time I visited. They are almost all the way to the end of 41st Ave about 4 stores from the corner of Portola Dr. I hope this helps.

Depending on where you live, you can try Asian markets. You can also try ordering online. Here are a few that I found:

Sounds crazy but they have tons of them pretty cheap at IKEA.

You might try the Galt Flee market. There open on Tue and Wed. I've seen them there befor .
Have a great day, D..

when in season they have them at the 99 cents only store.... I bought a bunch for a dollar a shoot. They have the straight ones and curly ones too. Good luck with your findings!!!!!

Ikea has them. And I didn't focus on them, but I think they were a good price.

why don't you try Denios Farmers Market in Roseville? J.

Hi D., Denio's in Roseville has at least a couple of vendors who sell bamboo in different varieties. I think you should be able to buy jut the stalks from them.
Good luck!
