I just recently relocated to Utah from out of state and am looking for playgroups or mom groups where my son and I can meet new people. Currently, I am in Riverton but will be moving to Eagle Mountain in the next few weeks. Can anyone make any recommendations on any groups or associations?

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) has several groups meeting in the Salt Lake valley and another one starting in Utah county this fall.
Most groups meet twice a month and have additional group activities as well. You can get more information and find a group that fits your schedule at www.mops.org
I'm a member of the MOM'S Club of South Valley which includes Riverton, but I'm not sure if Eagle Mountain is within the groups boundries. Here's the website: http://www.southvalleymomsclub.com/
You may possibly be in the boundries for the MOM'S Club of Utah County.
