Hi Everyone. I'm looking to switch to a dentist in the King of Prussia area since my dentist is over an hour away. I've heard some good things about the Upper Merion Dental Associates but there are so many dentists involved there. Does anyone have any good or bad experiences to share? Are there any dentists there that you would recommend avoiding?
So my fiance went to his first dentist appointment at Upper Merion Dental Associates this morning and although he had a rough experience (he hasn't been to the dentist in a long time and found out that he has many cavities and needs two root canals)he said that they are very good and we should make them our regular dentist. He hates all doctors and it literally took me calling and making him an appointment to get him to go so his approval is a big deal. Thank you to all of you who replied to my request. I'll give my personal opinion in April when I'm due for a cleaning and check up.
I had my kids there. They are really good and the kids loved the playroom. All the doc. where good. The only proublem that i had was that i was charged 6mnths later for things that i was told that my insurance was going to cover and didn't. Other then that they are good doc there.
My hubby goes to Upper Merion Dental, but I don't know who he sees. We used to go to King of Prussia Dental on Allendale Rd and loved Dr. Pickle.
My whole family goes to Upper Merion Dental and we've always had great experiences with the hygienists and dentists. We don't see anyone specific, we just schedule the appointments and get who we get. =) Be aware though that they are VERY busy ALL of the time. I don't usually have problems scheduling my boys, but for my husband and I it can take months to get an appointment. The children's waiting area is also very crowded most times, but they're pretty good about getting you back right around your scheduled appointment time.
I highly recommend Cooley Bentz Dental Associates in East Norriton - ###-###-####. It is a husband and wife team and they are amazing!! The customer service is excellent, I have never experienced anything like it at any other dentist or doctor's office. They are great with kids, too. Everything about their office and the people that work there is exceptional.
I have had alot of excellent experiences with Liberty Dental in Phoenixville. I don't know if you want to drive that far, although it is not too much of a drive from KOP. I take my 5yr old there and they are wonderful, have all the specialist come to the office instead of you having to go to them. Here is the contact info.

A few of my friends recommended Dr. Missy at King of Prussia Denatal Assoc ####-###-####. I took my 3 1/2 year old daughter and she loved her! She's wonderful with little ones and the exam room was so kid-friendly - my daughter can't wait to go back!
Can't speak to that location, but we have been going to a place in Oaks, right off the 422 exit (so 10 minutes from KoP). The place is great for kids and adults (no playroom for younger ones as far as I know). It's a father/daughter operation.
