Hi Moms,

Things are tight right now. I already work outside of the home but need to find a way to bring in some extra money. I am not looking for a business but something I can do and get paid. It would have to be something I could do at home or something I could do at night.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

What can I do next?

Hi N.,
I know how you feel as I was in the same place 8 years ago. I, too, did not want a "business" as I was a teacher, not a "business owner". I thought about some "jobs" to do at home, but knew that if I did not have a "passion" for what I was doing, I would not be successful, therefore wasting my time and money. Then I thought about what I was passionate about...kids, education, books, learning, etc. My kids were almost 3 and 10 months at the time and I really wanted to be home with them. I hear about Usborne Books, checked out the books and the company and fell in love. Now, eight years later, I am still loving these books and so are my kids!

If you would like to learn more about these great books, the opportunity to have your own "on-line bookstore", no sales minimums/no pressure business opportunity, let me know! You can have it all for under $50...great books, website, supplies and more! Email me at ____@____.com for more info. Your little ones will thank you for it!

N. - some friends of mine who wanted to make extra $ did marketing surveys. There are a couple of marketing research places in the Chicago area. They work for various companies who want to find out opinions on their products. All you have to do is show up, give your opinion on their product - personal products, foods, whatever, and they'll pay you $50 to $200 for an hour or two of your time. I lost the information on these groups, but I'm sure you could find them online.

What talents do you have? You could always teach a class at a Park District. I know moms that teach scrapbooking, knitting, drawing, music...all sorts of things! And on your schedule too!
