Looking for Someone to Make a "Memories" DVD

It looks like you've gotten some great responses. I was curious about how to get one of those made too, so I'm glad you asked.

Here's another idea. My mom has a high school teacher friend who got one of her students to make a DVD for my dad's birthday. It was a student in the technology class and he/she did a great job.

Just thought that if you had a connection to a local high school, you might be able to see if your contact can get you in touch with a high school student who does that. Kids these days do an amazing job with technology!

Michelle~ Unfortunately, I am too new to Frisco to give you a referral/ recommendation. However, this is a great idea and I'd love to know who you use and how it turns out. (I'd love to make something like this for our grandparents - our boys' great-grandparents.

I liked your idea so much about making a father's day DVD that I gave it a try myself. Only I'm incorporating videos and photos to music. I was so amazed at how well it's turning out. I used Windows Movie Maker which came already installed on my newly purchased computer. I also have it on a laptop I purchased a few years ago. And maybe it's even available as a download at microsoft.com. I only spent about 2 hours on it and I have to say,what I've completed so far is really nice. Also, Windows Movie Maker has some nice 'video effects' and 'video transitions'. We got married in 2000 and had a video made of our wedding and I would say my video,so far,is just as nice as the professional video person's that did it for our wedding.
If you need anymore information on how to do it yourself, just let me know. It's really not too hard.
