I live in Sugar Land and I am looking for an experienced and caring OB/GYN. I currently don't have a doctor as we just moved to the area and would appreciate any suggestions. My first pregnancy was high risk and my daughter was born three weeks early by emergency c-section. I need to find a Dr. I can trust if complications arise. Thank you so much!

Dr. Deanna McDonald is WONDERFUL! She is at Sugar Land OB/GYN. There are two other doctors in the practice and they are great too. She is very caring and open to talk about anything. I love her!

Here is who I use. He is affiliated with Women's Hospital. It is a large group of doctors through OB/Gyn Associates. I have used several doctors trhough them and have loved all of them. If you prefer a female, you can call the number above and they can refer you to someone that meets your needs.

Dr. Gogola at Memorial City off I-10 in Houston is amazing. He is extremely professional, great bedside manner, and KNOWS his stuff. I worked with him as a nurse at the hospital some years ago. He also took care of my high risk preg. sister. She had major problems with preterm labor and was on bedrest from week 24 on and in the hospital about the last 2 months. She still delivered at 35 weeks. He was great monitoring her and doing what needed to be done to prolong the pregnancy as far as possible.(didn't expect that it would go that long)
Best wishes!

I absolutely love my OB! Her name is Dr. Laurie Swaim. Her main practice is at the Women's Hospital on Fannin (right off 610). I used to live in Sugar Land and it really wasn't that bad of a trip. She also works out of a satellite office in Pearland (at The Women's Place).

At her main office it's all women doctors. One of her associates actually delivered my son and I really like both of them!

What I love is that even though I see her once a year, she remembers me (or at the very least reads my chart). She talks fast, but will take the time to answer questions and talk if you need to.

Hope you find the right one!

Edit
I just wanted to add that Dr. Swaim has also been very respectful of what I want and need in regards to my medical care. I would definitely trust her with a high risk pregnancy she is extremely knowledgeable and never made me feel like an idiot!
