I am an RN and childbirth doula and I know several really good ob's that deliver at 'Big Baylor'.
Please email me and let me know what you are looking for and that will help narrow it down.

Highly recommend either Dr. Sandra Brothers OR Dr. Melissa Crochet. Excellent doctors, and they are just all around great people.
Good luck!

I loved Dr. Ehmer! He is with Heckman and Harris right across the street from Baylor. I used Dr. Gunby my first time and his partner Dr. Paine (sp) actually delivered. I wasn't that happy with the whole situation. Whatever you do, insist that your doc does EVERYTHING! Baylor is a teaching hospital and sometimes the doc will hand off to one of the residents...such as sewing your epesiotomy. Just FYI. Good luck!

Dr. Norwood at Women's Health Alliance would be my choice. Very kind, laid back, but very good at what he does. An excellent surgeon too, if you wind up needing surgery. He does not rush you through and is respectful of your wishes.

Dr. Norwood. I just love him and he made my husband very comfortable. He was the on call doctor when I delivered my son 8 weeks early. My husband begged me to switch OB/Gyn's and as fate would have it, my previous doctor moved. And whoever you choose, delivering at "big" Baylor is a great decision!!!!

My OB delivers at Baylor Downtown. You might think I'm a little "wacky" because of why I like my OB. I recommend her to everyone. She let me go past my estimated due date (EDD) with both kids. If you don't want a lot of interventions, she's good with that. I'm pretty natural with my beliefs, and she went with that. She wasn't all freaked about me being overweight before, after or during pregnancy either. She's a DO, not an MD, so she's more naturally minded. She practices at Baylor downtown, and I believe it is the BEST hospital in the metroplex. I had a c-section with my first and she let me VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), which most doctors are leery of doing now in this litigious society.
My Dr. is Elizabeth Stevenson. Also, her partner, Maria Reyes, is bilingual and is like-minded with Stevenson.
We are conveniently located in the Baylor Health Center on the northwest corner of Park Lane and North Central Expressway (I75).
