Can anyone recommend a nanny agency? I had my first baby, a boy on July 22nd. Looking for a nanny for 3 days a week to work in our home in South East Minneapolis.

What can I do next?

I'm in a similar situation. I work 2.5 days a week and have tried to find a nanny or daycare who will accept children part time. It's not easy to find! Here are two agencies I called and liked--problem is the finder's fee is out of my price range.

You could also post on college web sites such as St. Thomas and St. Catherines job listings. Good luck!

I was a nanny before becoming a mom, and I went through Nannys of the Heartland. Myself, and the family I worked for, loved them. They do very thorough background checks on every potential nanny and family. What I found nice was that you let them know what you're looking for, how much you will pay, etc., and you'll only interview nannies that fit those qualifications. It eliminates a lot of stress for both parties. Good luck!

I was a nanny before and I went through Loving Care out of Oakdale. My sister is a nanny and she goes through Above and Beyond Nanny Agency. Both are very good agencies. If you have any questions let me know. B.

Try collegenannies.com. We haven't used them personally but have heard great things.

i recently used gonannies.com and found a great nanny. There is a start up fee of $35 or $45, but i found a great nanny. They also offer background checks too.
