Hi J., if you go to www.momsclub.com you can find a club in your area. I belong to the South Orange Club and it has been a great experience for my son and a welcome support for me (adult talk yeah!). Depending on the chapter in your area, they go on outings, have a moms night out every month and have regular "playdates". I'm sure you'll enjoy it as will your little one.

go to meetup.com and go to the parenting section...there will be tons of moms group. i was part of one called oc newborns and infants but moved..they were a lot of fun and did lots of outings...good luck

I don't know if you work or stay at home. There is a stroller strides class that is a great way to meet other moms and exercise too. There are classes 6 days a week at different parks. Monthly fees are really reasonable. Look it up on-line. I have met some very nice women here. They also have a social calendar with park playdates, pool parties, movie nights, etc.
