Looking for Gym with Childcare

Hello,
I am in Long Beach. Have a 6 month old and am ready to hit the gym. One problem, I need to locate a gym who will provide childcare while I workout for 1-2 hours. Any recommendations?
Thanks

What can I do next?

Hi, N.,

I have had a great experience with Bally's in Culver City. The babysitters are warm and calm. You might try a Bally's near you.

24 Hour Fitness offers onsite childcare for a nominal fee of $3.00 for up to two hours. There are locations at Long Beach on Bellflower and Spring and at Cypress/Los Alamitos on Katella. I prefer the Cypress/Los Alamitos location it's a clean and a fun place.

I work out at 24-Hour Fitness. There is one in Long Beach (off of Bellflower) that has good childcare, but I prefer the Cypress/Los Alamitos location off of Katella near the racetrack. It has an awesome Kids Zone that I highly recommend. I've worked out at Bally's in Cerritos (off of Del Amo) and used their childcare. It's good as well. But, I love 24-Hour Fitness in Cypress.

some 24 hour fitness have childcare. However I am not sure of the age limit.
Check their website.

I also am not sure of the quality of care, so as with anything with our kids - check em out really well.

Looks like others have answered the same but La Fitness has it for $10 a month. FYI, they WILL NOT change diapers, so if you little one goes, you will have to come in to change them.

LA Fitness has a child club for 10 bucks a month. You really can't beat that. If you go 3 times a week for a month, you are paying under a dollar a visit! I know my friend goes to 24 hour (my husband has both gym memberships), but we never go there with out daughter, it's 4 bucks EACH visit PER child....that can get pricey!!!

Not sure where you are in Long Beach but Belmont Athletic club has babysitting at $4 an hour. Good luck!
